July 100% Challenge Daily Diary

Ok so I have been bimbling along for past few weeks/months and really need to up the anti now so have decided I am going to challenge myself to being 100% and having only the 3 shakes a day.

I have an engagement party 2nd Aug and am also off on hols for 2 weeks 24th Aug so really need to shift this weight and this will be my focus.

Am going to add a diary entry each day even if this is just my weigh in as will also be weighing each day.

If anyone would like to join me then please feel free!

So wish me luck as think I am going to need all the support I can get lol :wave_cry:

Hello and good luck!! I have really found having a diary helps me be a little bit more accountable and think it's a really good idea. Is today your first day? How are you finding it so far?
 
Good luck. The diary will help & there are a few of us that weigh daily so worth having a look at some of the diaries.x
 
Ok so day 1 nearly over. Have just had my carbonara.

Have not felt hungry today but have been in a bit of a low mood but think that is more due to TOTM and boredom!!

Looking forward to mornings WI and shall keep you posted xx
 
3lbs loss bringing me to 12.8, so that's body water lost!
Doing fine so far today, planning porridge around 12.30 for breakfast, a bar around 3.30 for lunch and carbonara for tea around 7.30 and this will pretty much be the same for every day this month.
Only thing that may differ will be lunch as may sometimes have a vanilla shake with coffee added yum yum!!

Hope everyone else is doing well xx
 
Good 1st day loss there Natalie, well done.

Hopefully I'll be back on TS tomorrow, cant wait xx

Hi Coffeemate

No I started exante early last year and did it for a few months, lost a few stone and maintained (gained a little at xmas) so decided in feb this year to restart and move to the next weight loss level and see if I can maintain the loss again this year.

My problem is I don't do it religiously and do tend to eat evening meals or I will stick to it for 4-5 days then relax over the weekends :(

Am a fool to myself but really need to pull my finger out now and stay focused for July at least, hence joining the July challenge.

Weighed this morn and 3lbs loss so good start, only 29 days to go lol

Your loss for 1 week is amazing so keep up the good work, also noticed your start weight is around my original starting weight. Xx
 
Was sure I had written on here yesterday but obviously not :).

Good idea to start a diary Natalie, it helps you keep track of your emotions & tendencies regarding going off track.

Looking at you stats you have already lost 3/4 of the weight you want to lose.

A month of TSing will see you near to target or even at target so good luck x

Have survived day 3 100%, weight loss 4lbs in total so far!!

Just knowing the diary is here helps especially in those weak moments.

I distracted myself by cleaning and painting my porch today, is harder to stay focused as am off work at the mo due to having a high risk hernia. Find it so much easier when working as keeps me busy, am also missing gym and swimming too :( Xx
 
Day 4 - done.

Well almost as just about to have my carbonara.

Been a pretty stressful day and really could have devoured a chocolate bar, then had to cook tea for family and hubby has just out on a cookery show. I soon turned that over!!

Have stayed 100% with not a nibble or a lick of anything else, worrying about the weekend already though as am at a dear friends all day tomorrow for her sons birthday and she always likes me to join her in having a drink (well quite a few actually) but that will be a no no from me.
Then sunday off to woodlands (children's/family fun park) which means picnic etc.

So my plan for tomorrow is......well there is no plan really other than just keep saying no and keep glugging my bottle of water. Plan for sunday is thankfully I have a few strawberry and banana shakes left so will take one of them with shaker for brekki and a bar for lunch then can have my carbonara for tea later in the evening when we get home.

So let's see if it works and i survive xx
 
Ok so quick update on my food/drink temptation so far (although I think im just talking to myself) I have so far been successful and avoided all drinks and food. Politely sitting here glugging my water lol

Just got to get through them all eating tea and I'm a winner for today.

Snap, I'm off work too due to my foot. Brings a whole new bagful of temptations to deal with doesn't it.

Are they planning to do something with your hernia or are you waiting for a consultation. ?

Hope your plan is working for the weekend. Can't put your life on at the end of the day xx

Oh no what have you done to your foot?

I have been waiting for a scan but the docs messed up and the app had been cancelled! Now finally after several weeks been given an app for beginning aug, is annoying as doc won't sign me as fit to work till scan has been done. Just got to wait for op date then. Somewhat worried as am of on hols in 7 weeks...

I somehow survived the weekend of temptations and have stayed on TS so day 7 WI due in morn!

Feeling good as is 1st weekend in a looong time I have stayed on plan lol Xx
 
Thanks bob123, feeling a little deflated really which is a shame when I felt really positive last night after surviving the weekend with no food.

Reason being is that I gained .4 of a pound! Now I know you will be thinking that's nothing but it is when it tipped me from 12.4.6 to 12.5!!!!

On a positive note I am proud I have achieved 7 days of TS and got through the weekend (this is a first for a long time) and have lost 6lbs this week in total.

Just that pesky .4 of a pound has narked me and I think I would have coped better with a STS as I have been expecting that.

Has anyone else had gains whilst on TS? However big or small lol x
 
Oh yes indeed. Sometimes the weight fluctuates daily & usually its down to body fluid so don't feel disheartened.

6lb is brilliant so give yourself a big pat on the back Natalie.

Roll on week two xx
