My diary - 8 weeks till vegas- can i do it!?

Started back in exante as after a holiday I haven't maintained and I'm now 10st 5lb. I'd like to loose 1 1/2 to 2 stone in 8 weeks. I hope this is possible! Aiming for 8st7- 9st range by last week of October! Holiday of a life time and don't want to cover up I wanna feel pretty!!
Today is day one. It's 12 I clock I've had one shake so far. I've got a headache now :/ the first few days are so harsh but once your in ketosis it's Will power more than anything!
Going to have a kip hope the headache passes!

Today is my first day as fluffed yesterday up.
I've gone and bought Turkish tea leaves to have with sweetner as It's not too bad without milk and I think this will get me through the day. I've had one shake so far. I'm not too hungry . Also had some coke zero . Fingers crossed I've started properly this time. Xx

Let me know how the chocco balls are - they look too good to be true!! Good luck hun, well don't on resisting dinner. Also, I think it's coke zero you should have, not diet coke. Think diet come has citric acid in which can prevent ketosis.., the only thing which makes a vlcd bearable! Think some people are ok with it, but wouldn't want you to be hungry and not realise what it might be! :-)

Ah thank you I did have coke zero! No idea why I wrote diet coke haha! I've woken up this morning and proud I had the will power now just need to keep it going! 2 Turkish teas ( in the small glasses) with sweetener and my shake . The tea is def helping. Actually tastes nice without milk! Thank you both for your messages

I've got 2 work out DVDs - insanity and 30 day shred. I think insanity is too harsh for a 600 calorie intake so maybe next week I will start 30 day shred. I have such problem areas on my arms- they are huge and the overlap on my belly from 2 babies! I see these celebs and wonder how does their stomach go back like that! My 2 c sections seems to have made my fat belly more prominent!
I'd just love to wear clothes I don't have to hide in, choose clothes because they are pretty and modern not because they will hide my belly and arms!! Xx

Well done for getting through the first day as you know it will get easier once ketosis kicks in. I too find clothes to hide the arms and tum, after having 4 huge babies and 2 c-sections it really takes its toll on your body! I started the 30 day shred and coming to the last week of it and I must say I have actually enjoyed it and lost inches overall even when the scales don't always move. Good luck on your journey!

Thanks heat wave glad to know we are all in the same boat! Lou yes getting there! I'm so tempted to fluff up and eat something! But in being good! Had a shake for brekkie, a choc bar for lunch ( couldn't Finnish it all ) and just had a shake for dins. I cooked my partner crusty steak rolls with chips and mushrooms! Oh god I could have eaten it!! But I was good. Drinking my Turkish tea helps I thjnk. I prob should drink more water I'm trying to but no where near the recommended amount. I hope the tea and coke zero counts towards it a bit. Still got a head ache! Hurry up ketosis! X

Well done on remaining 100%! The dinner you cooked sounds delicious. I do believe tea counts towards your water intake, but I cannot be too sure. I find that filling up a 2l bottle, for the day, really helps. What is Turkish tea? Is it a special type of tea? I am quite fond of tea, so just curious.

It's just the kind they have in turkey hehe in little glasses . It's no where near as strong as our tea. They use dried tea leaves . I add a sweetner and it's lovely . They don't have milk in tea either, so it works well for the diet. I may try filling up a bottle! Good idea! I really want to eat the ham that's in the fridge. It's calling me. Help!!

I'm dreaming of the ham!! Help!!

Why am I such a giver uper! I'm a person that needs to see results immediately which is why exante appeals to me. I hate waiting for things. So the appealing loosing 1.5-2 stone in 8 weeks is great.

Annoyingly I'm ok during the day. It's 5pm once kids have eaten is when I get hungry. I used to eat dinner then. Then I'm hungry all the time until I sleep.
Surely I've made myself this way. I've made myself crave these foods. Cause clearly your body is fine in 600 calories. I'm the one that's made it want more and more?! X

Tea always looks wonderful in glasses. I will have to give that a try. I have been so cold lately, and it doesn't help that I prefer my shakes ice-cold, so I need to drink more hot drinks. Well done for resisting the ham!! It will be there after Exante and you have a wonderful holiday to look forward to! Sleep well xxx
