    Attempting a few weeks at 100%

    Ok so have not been on here for a while, well not since my holiday in August/sept. So gained half a stone on hols and have maintained since then bit really need to at least try and get back on it properly.

    I want to get back to doing 100% days starting tomorrow. Only problem I have is I am due an operation on the 26 nov and am not sure what the recovery time will be or what/how long I may need painkillers afterwards. I know when taking painkillers I need to be eating to line my stomach as due to my past history with stomach related problems it's just not worth the risk to not eat.

    Am basically posting in the hope this will at least give me the boost that I need to not fail as you will all know my pledge lol.

    Anyway hope everyone else is doing well and losing those pesky pounds Xx

    Hi slim! Well done on getting to goal, I'm sure it won't take you long to lose the half a stone you put on. If you're having surgery on 26th I would check with your doc about being in ketosis plus you'll need your strength to heal. If you're worried about painkillers have you tried omoprazole (spelling might be dodgy?) It's one a day and it helps protect the stomach lining. Ask your GP, it worked for me. Good luck with your plan.

    Week 5 - 3lb loss
    = 298lb = 21st4
    Week 6 - 2lb loss = 296lb = 21st2
    Week 7 - ????

    Goal 1 - stay on Exante a week 100% (17/10/14)
    Goal 2 - get to 22st (achieved 28/10/14)
    Goal 3 - weigh less than 300lb (21st5) (11/11/14)
    Goal 4 - lose 10% starting weight (21st)
    Goal 5 - Get to 20st5 (pre pregnancy weight)
    Goal 6 - weigh 18stones = BMI under 40
    Goal 7 - reach 15st7. My leather jacket will fit again.
    Goal 8 - weight 14stone (under 200lbs)
    Goal 9 - weigh less than 13st (a first in my adult life)
    Goal 10 - 11st 6lbs 'Normal' BMI 25.

    I'm looking forward to my husband being able to sweep me up into his arms (for the first time). Without getting a hernia that is.

    Yes I spent rather a long time on omaprazole over the past few years. I've had gall bladder removal, pancreatitis, liver dysfunction and now a hiatus hernia (under the scar from gall bladder removal)!

    Just feeling the blubbery jelly belly is back lately as not really been able to exercise cause of high risk hernia and haven't really been eating too well since hols. Amazed I've not gained since hols!

    I had already planned to get back on it till Xmas from today as had my daughter 18th celebrations over the weekend. But then get my op date through last week so has kind of messed up my plans Grrr!

    Oh well shall see if I can actually get back on an first huh? Lol xx

    Argh ok so it's worse than I thought and most probably due to the amount of eating put and cocktails over the weekend.

    Thankfully headache only lingered for around 3 days susie.
    After reading some other posts though I've realised I haven't had that horrible Metallicy taste in my mouth I usually get when in ketosis. Am slightly worried in case this means I'm not in??
    I am on day 5 of 100% so can't see why not and I suppose Mondays weigh in will tell.

    Have my 2 nephews joint birthday party sun so this will be my main test this week because of all the party food (am a sucker for nibbles)!

    Did well yesterday though as took kids in town for lights switch on, went macci ds and I had a coffee.
    Is funny how when your not eating you pay more attention to how other do eat, not a pretty sight that's for sure lol x

    You should be in ketosis by now I would have thought. If not it wont be far away x

    Eugh susie seriously it was quite disgusting. Similar feeling to being the sober one on a night out lol.

    I do hope I am In ketosis. Tummy is rumbling well that's for sure and being on it brought my monthlies 3 days earlier too!
    Although I started at 12.7 on mon I was 12.4 on the fri but went out sat night for my babies 18th bday celebration which equalled lots of cocktails and food. Thought my 3lb weekend gain was from that but may have also been because I was due on so on that basis I am hoping for a good weeks weight loss!

    They're going well at the moment. Feel really in control so just hoping it lasts. Keeping myself to myself this weekend so then I will have the 1st week under my belt. That should make it easier to carry on afterwards.

    Well 1st wi and have lost 6lbs. This brings me to 12.1.4.
    Have to stay on track this week if I want to get back into the 11's thats for sure!

    Overall feeling better already. Can see it in my face and neck. Also redid my measurements, arms, under bust, and tummy are the same.
    Hips and thigh are still slightly bigger than pre hol but only by an 1.5inch combined. Hopefully if I can get back to my lowest weight of 11.8 that 1.5in will be gone. Xx

    thanks susie, have to say not been feeling it today and am struggling so think an early night is in order.
