    50 day challenge

    56 days until my wedding day!! I have lost 30 lbs so far but put a few on this week as have been off plan following my hen do and a hangover from hell!! So tomorrow I'm starting a 50 day challenge and hoping for another 1 stone 7lbs before the big day. I'm not sure if it's doable with lots of christmas parties and christmas in the middle of it but gonna give it a pretty good go. So before my hen I got down to 15st 1 and dreading the weigh in tomorrow- have been a right piggy!! Going to try my best to post everyday, I know I will need the support! Dreading the 3 day ketosis battle!!

    Thanks- I think it's doable too! If I'm 100% I think I can get into the low 14s! I'm actually looking forward to re starting tomorrow, fed up of feeling full and bloated!!
    I so wish I started this diet earlier but I didn't so will be happy if I get into the low 14s- better than 17st 4!
    Yep I have my dress, it's a high street dress and quite floaty and empire cut. If I lose weight it will come off my tummy so won't really change the fit of the dress!! Would love to get rid of a chin!!! X

    1/ 50 coming to a close, vanilla latte for breakfast, mint choc shake for lunch and a hot cross bun bar for tea. Weighed in today and have put a whopping 8lbs on this week!! I have really binged and I'm not surprised and I know that most of this is water weight, would love to drop those pounds this week! I think that ketosis is going to take longer than normal because I have had so many carbs this week but I'm determined!! I'm going to try and not weigh daily but i do get slightly addicted.

    Lots of wedding planning today, table plans to sort and centre pieces to arrange! 8 weeks today! Eeeek! Xx

    2/50 15.5- 5 pounds off overnight!!!! I love this diet!!!

    So here's a bit more about me.... I started my diet journey back in August when we booked our wedding and I was determined to marry my fiancée at the weight I met him (13st 8). I weighed in at 17st 4 and knew that I had to low carb to lose the weight. I started on Atkins for a month and dropped one stone which wasn't too bad. My work started to give away free 12 week program's to SW if you were obese so I grabbed onto this planning on doing red days to continue losing weight but with a bit of support. I spent then next 12 weeks on a huge roller coaster ride of losses and gains- it was infuriating. After12 weeks I lost a measly 8lbs.

    I used Exante for a few weeks and then had a huge blow out last week because of my hen do, my hangover lasted a whole week!!! So here I am, 8 weeks to go and 26 pounds to lose in 55 days!! I don't think I will quite get to my target with christmas and celebrations before but I'm going to give it a bloody good go. My fiancée has already noticed the 2 stone loss so even If I only lose one more it's better than the 17st 4 bride that I was going to be.

    So today I had a vanilla coffee latte, hot cross bun bar and off to make me a hot choc mint shake. I'm running out of bars so will need to buy some more as these are great for lunch at work! I've got so many vanilla shakes tho, they don't seem to be going down!! :-( xx

    3/50 15st 4 another pound off. Just love to see those numbers go down! My goal for this week was to get down to 15st 2 which was the weight I was before the hen do. But the next goal has to be seeing that new front number 14! I haven't been in the 14s for about 2 years so that would be fab!!

    I don't feel I'm in ketosis yet, headache hasn't arrived and I'm not cold! I go really cold when ketosis kicks in! However the TOTM is coming which is a sign.... I always have an unexpected bleed when I restart??! Apparently is because oestrogen is stored in fat cells so when you shed fat quickly it causes a bleed?!!!

    Anyway, determined to see those 14s next week!!! Xx

    Wow, the weight is dropping off brilliantly Kimmi. I don't think its going to be long till you get into the 14s.

    The only time I get a TOTM is once a year when I am at the airport waiting to go on my holiday. Typical really.

    Sounds like your doing great, it won't be long before you see those 14s. I reckon you'll definately get to your target before your wedding. I've tried SW a few times in the past and tried it again before this and it just doesn't work for me I lose and gain so much and it gets me down. I definately prefer this, in a strange way it's quite nice to not to have to think about food.

    Hiya Poppy!! Just seen that you started off around the 17st mark too and now down to under 200lbs!! Well done!! I'd love to get down to that point by the wedding!! Just wish I started earlier!!

    I totally agree with you about SW, I would stick to the diet 100% eating loads of fruit and veg and would gain!! I totally believe in a low carb diet which involves no fruit or hidden sugars! I've had success with atkins and when this diet is over that's what I aim to stick to- no bread, pasta or potatoes for me!! Xx

    4/50 haven't weighed this morning as my TOTM has arrived and it always makes me weigh heavier! Even though I know that I still get majorly disheartened when I weigh and then I normally fall off the wagon! So decided no weighing until it's well and truly cleared!!

    I don't feel I'm in ketosis yet, I normally why the terrible headache and get really really cold! Apparently TOTM can mess up ketosis so not getting fixed on it!

    Good day yesterday, probably not drinking enough water but I'm out working in the community all day and get concerned about finding toilets to pee!! Running low on bars which I need for work but have 50 odd shakes to use :-(. I may try the facebook swap site to see if I can get some bars! Praying and hoping that I see those 14s next week! 5lbs to go!! Xx

    I know I said I wouldn't weigh in until after my TOTM had finished but I'm addicted!! So pleased to see more losses!!

    This weekend is going to be difficult, my fiancée is off to Dublin on his stag do which leaves me vulnerable! My binging times are always when he's away!! But I must be strong, determined to get this belly to go down for the wedding!!

    I'm off to the venue this weekend with my sister in law to go through the final details- we get a free lunch too!!! Aaah!! I know they do a chicken salad so might have that. I want to enjoy the run up to the wedding as well as diet so it's about compromise!!

    I need to go shopping soon for some clothes but putting it off until I've lost a bit more! We're having a meal the night before the wedding and I also want do get something casual but nice for the breakfast the morning after. I'm a casual dresser, normally in jeans or leggings so just want to smarten up for our wedding weekend!!! 7 weeks this Saturday x x

    Well done on your loss that's great! I know what you mean about binging when alone, I normally treat myself' to something naughty when my husband goes out, no more though, not having a break until Christmas. Just think of your loss if your tempted this weekend, come on here or a favourite of mine paint your nails - works for me.
    I'm sure there will be something healthy/ low carb at the weekend of you to choose, as you say just go for a salad r maybe a vegetable soup? As you say it's just about compromise and finding a balance.
    wow 7 weeks that will fly by, I have to admit Monsoon is a favourite of mine, I think their clothes fit well and are smart but comfy.
