So started today for the first time on Exante, I have done CD before. So this morning Iv had a hot chocolate shake, which states on the sachet to make with hot water, can you not have a cold shake? Is there a reason for this?
I have had a sachet of fybogel and a detox tea. I have a ltr of sparking water in my bag and another shake for lunch. Let's see how today goes. Hope everyone else is having a good start to the day.

I don't do the shakes so can't answer your question - but I'm sure someone will be along soon who can :)

Hi Tess! Welcome!

It is a typo on some of the sachets - the shakes can be made hot or cold, whatever your preference.

Hi both, thanks for the advice I did think it was a bit odd, I'm on my lunch time shake now and I'm starving but I know it will get better.

Good Luck Tess. The first few days are difficult getting into it (or in my case back into it) but it does get easier. Shakes can be made hot or cold depending on preference I guess. Are you just planning on having shakes?
 
Hey all had my shake at lunch and Iv had a hienz tomato soup for dinner and some quorn roast as it's pure protein. I am doing shakes and a meal as my OH doesn't agree with total solution and worries about my health, but if I had my way I would be doing that solely though as think I'm going to be hungry :-(. How's everyone else getting on?

Hi Tess I'm the same I did CD before and it was hard but lost 2stone . After a family bereavement and Christmas I put 1.7 back on over 2-3 months of emotional eating and not caring so I'm back on this is my 2 nd day but feeling kinda scared as I've no face to face weigh in / pressure but kinda looking forward to not being stressed out my head with weigh in!! But hope I can also stick to it ? Do you know what I mean ?

Hi Jean I know what you mean your kinda doing it for yourself and have no one to answer too, but posting on here will keep you motivated and everyone here will be with your every step of the way ;-). I'm a day behind you today being my second day. Well done the worst is nearly over.
Had hot choc shake, a fybogel and a Neals yard beautiful tea which is lush. I'm feeling quite sicky today :-( gonna be hard to get the water down my neck I think. Hope everyone has a good day xx

My OH was worried when I started on this but I assured him if I ever didn't feel right I'd make sure I ate something, esp as I'm running around after the little ones. But I dont feel like I need it most of the time and I think my husband has realised now it's ok. But saying that I don't think ketosis friendly foods affect weightloss too much. Could you speak to your OH and say you'll eat if you feel like you need too? Hope your day is going well.
 
Hey poppy thanks for the reply, my OH love him blows thing out of proportion sometimes and can be difficult to talk to. So it's an easier life for me to do what I'm doing. lol x

I know how you feel. We have a new cafeteria built at work and everyone is raving on about how cheap and delicious the food is and I'm stuck in the office having a shake. We must think of the bigger picture and why we are doing this and it won't be forever. You can do it just hold in there!
 
Aw no, i avoid the restaurant at work and have a bar while working in my car. Hope things start to get easier for you. Drinking regularly should help x

I have drank and drank pretty much all day!! Weeing like no tomorrow lol. Good idea to stick away from the food. Just cooked my other haves tea and taken the dog for a quick walk. Iv made it till now struggling of what to have for tea. I'm a vegetarian so may have some quorn and chopped tomatoes, what does anyone else have?
