LOL! VLCDs are great and they really do what they say but oh, dear me, they can be a shock to the system. A sense of humour helps x
 
Hello again Nova. I'm having a good diet day. I hope you and Lady are, too. Funny isn't it how some days are easier than others? Some you almost sail through and others, you're clinging on my your fingertips . Either way it's best to think longterm, as obsessing over every single meal/day can lead to meltdowns. Keep an eye on your eventual goal as it will be here before you know it x
 
I try to picture something encouraging. For example, not having to cover-up with a baggy black cardigan all summer, even on the hottest, sunniest days. Wee things like that can be very motivating x

It usually takes from a few days to a week for ketosis to 'hit' me so it may be similar for you. Once it's arrived this diet gets much easier but that doesn't mean you won't ever want to eat! You're doing great x

I had some protein last night after gym :( needed it though..

Will stay 100% tonight if it kills me!! Lol.. No gym tonight just a sauna and steam :)

Hi supernova, I'm finding that I'm having a meal one or two days a week because of being away with work, out with friends, so I'm not doing food week either, but I am getting the meals in other ways. And it's your diet, so do it whatever way suits you best :)
 
When I did a food week I stuck to low-carb. I was worried that eating carbs might take me out of ketosis and hinder me getting straight back into TS. Protein and green vegetables/salad seems to be the ideal way forward. I ate a lot of eggs! x
 
I feel better on Exante than I did on the wrong food! I think we all notice the benefits. And losing even a few pounds is so motivating x

Sorry I didn't see your question to me until now: When I'm eating I stick to no or low carb salads and a little bit of protein (usually egg or chicken or cheese).
 
I got a Dahl pot and a black bean pot.
 
Oops' di they have a strong smell cos I want to take them to work. Tried the sweet and sour noodles which were ok but didn't enjoy the indian curry pack x
 
Susie as you may have seen me post elsewhere I have 23 or 24 curry packs and 23 risotto! They are relegated to my 'only if desperate' pile LOL. I can't eat the curry one at all. Risotto I can force down if I add veggie oxo and a fresh whole egg x
