Total Solution 16 weeks to make a difference!!

Well I've decided to get back on the exante wagon!! Dabbled lots with vlcd in the past but only once really successfully. I have found every restart since difficult, not sure why?! It was soooo easy the first time! Hmmm.... If I'm honest ive probably had too much other stuff going on!! my health, self esteem and well being has probably been the bottom of my priority list! I've got 3 little children the youngest has just turned one the second is 3 and the eldest is nearly 6. I also work full time so life is very busy.

I've got a friends wedding to go to at the end of July there will be lots of my husbands colleagues there and I'm determined I'm not going the weight I am now!! The only chance I have to make a significant difference to my weight between now and then is a vlcd so here I am hoping exante can work it's magic.

I'm 5'4 and weigh an embarrassing 16st 6lbs!!! Arghhhhhh!!!!!! ??? so quite a task ahead! I will aim to be 100% TS most of the time but the only person who knows about the diet is my husband (can't be bothered with people lecturing me about "doing a silly diet again") so when in work I will have a low carb meal.

Wish me luck!! Starting today, my 3lts of water already chilling in the fridge! Will be weighing on Mondays. Arghhhhh scared now.............Can't fail again! Xxxx

Hi missmoss

Good luck to you on your journey. What products have you ordered? What do u like/dislike so far? Do you have a goal weight in mind?

My story is a little like yours. I've done vlcds in the past only v successful once (the first time) I started on Saturday at 17st 4 (today am 16st 12) so so far so good. My ultimate goal is 12st but I'm doing 12 weeks 100% and hope to get down to 14st by then.

Look forward to seeing how you find the diet. :) x

Hi, I can't stand the soups!! I've just got some choc orange and some nut bars to start with, with vanilla shakes, I know I like these so will stick to these to start with. Loads more products to chose from now so will prob order some to try in a couple of weeks. My ultimate goal weight is 10st 7lb, can't remember when I last saw it on the scales I was probably about 8 years old lol!! Got down to 11st with LL after my first child, felt amazing!!! If I can get anywhere near the lower 12's by end of July will feel so much better, no sure how realistic this is tho. Well done that's loads already! Bet you can't wait for WI on sat!! What packs do you like? Xx

Yes I know I'm def more sweet than savoury and usually have just choc everything packs wise but thought I'd take up an exante offer and try a bit over variety bit less boring! So far I like and have tried the choc Orange bar choc shake and coconut shake. I have a few meal packs being delivered today. Not many as prefer shakes and bars. But I couldn't resist ordering some of the pizza packs :)

well done on getting down to 11st with LL it proves u can do it. (That's what I keep telling myself anyway!) I got down to around 12st 7 with LL on my first successful Stan at vlcds back in 2007/8 im a lot older now so don't know how differently the weight loss will show on my body. I don't have children (am 32 and tend to unfortunately pick commitment phones) so I really have no excuse! How many children do u have? Is it tricky this diet with a houseful? I live alone so the first few days my tactics have been avoid everyone! And there's no food in the house either. Not sure how that's gonna pan out over easter with the family!!

The biggest I have ever been is 20st exactly (shameful shameful) but I have to yoyod between 16st and 19st 1/2 for years. I am at the bottom end of that now but really want to push through into those lower numbers! I'm 5ft 9 so 12st is (just) a normal weight for my height.

You will def get there. If ure 100% then the 12s (lower in fact) could very well make an appearance. I feel that way about the end of the 12 weeks and 14st. If I stick to it then it just might happen! Sent from my iPhone using MiniMins

Welcome back Missmoss.

Wish I knew why the 1st time on this kind of diet is easy compared to subsequent attempt but this is going to be the last time for sure.

There are so many different packs to experiment with now. I love the Shepherds Pie which is the closest of the packs to real food. The porridge is good too but then again we all have different tastes lol.

I have my sons graduation to lose weight for which is also in July. You can get a good loss over 4 months. Good luck.

Thank you susie! I feel a bit embarrassed comming back again after failing before but I really need to knuckle down now! Hope you are well, yours sons graduation, lovely I think it's good having an event to help motivate you and just think those pictures are gonna be on your wall for years!!! Xx

Dont feel embarrassed. A lot of us are in the same boat. We are just facing up to reality and doing something about it now x

Well day one done. Was a real struggle at times but pleased I got through it! Haven't drank enough water tho and have got a headache now so off to bed! Xx

DAY 2

Weighed this morning 1lb off it's a start lol, plan for the day ahead is vanilla shake warm with coffee to start then bar for lunch and bar for supper. Must drink more water today, I only managed 1.5 ltr yesterday, aiming for double that..... Usually manage the water ok but couldn't get it down yesterday. Due for TOTM any day so feel bloated with that.

The kids are off out for the afternoon today with their grandparents so think I will try and blitz this house! Impossible to do it when they are home. Wonder why I bother tho, five mins after they get in it will be a tip again lol. Happy days eh! Xxx

Arghhhh really difficult today. Banging headache just want to curl up and sleep but got to settle the kids and the baby is overtired and won't sleep, it's times like this I crack and dive headfirst into the biscuit tin!!!! Noooooo

Stay strong Missmoss & remember why you are doing this.

Just think of how good you are going to look & feel in July x

Well haven't succumbed. The youngest is still screaming so can't climb into bed away from temptation just yet!! Head still pounding. The other 2 are flat out, how they sleep through this noise I'll never know?! But if I try and creep into their rooms They wake straight away!! Feel glad I haven't caved in but it is soooooo stressful when she's like this, normally settles no probs. hubby is downstairs watching footie, nice for some! Mustn't eat the Easter eggs, mustn't eat the Easter eggs, mustn't eat the Easter eggs!..........

Hiya missmoss how are you getting on today! Just one more day and all this chocolate hype will be gone. We can do it xx

Been meaning to update diary sooner, but have been bonkers busy with the kids and work over the Easter holidays. I made a conscious decision to postpone my restart untill today! I know I will find the first week easier now that school is back and there is some routine and structure back in the days!

So feeling excited! Day one lets do this! Xxx

Best of luck with the restart Missmoss.

Good luck! Looking forward to hearing about your first week!
