Skinny for summer, wonderful for a wedding

So I've started on Wednesday. I am hoping to loose about 5stone. I am not sure if I want to loose it all on exante or use exante and then another diet but I tried lipotrim and lost a bit, but the shakes made me sick because of the flavour.

on Wednesday I had a cherries and berries shake(it was nice but not my favourite, a chocolate orange bar but it was beautiful and moussaka (which I HATED). I immediately knew it was going to be hit and miss for stuff.

so here it goes. I hate moussaka, I'm not keen on raspberry and lemon shakes either. So if anyone wants some they're more than welcome. I have just about everything to try. I had pancakes today which were amazing!! Absolutely fantastic. I've got porridge to try and I am hoping I like them too.

I love the fact there are bars on this diet they've become my lifesaver at work. i stood on the scales when I shouldn't have and it said I lost 4lbs in 2 days. I'm not taking it as fact. I know that weight fluctuates so I'm going to do a weigh in every Wednesday morning.

Im so excited! I can't wait to see my progress. I have a huge stack of clothes I need to get in to and I love them. Most still have tags on and they're all summer clothes so I NEED to get skinny for summer. I also have a wedding dress I need to look wonderful in :)
 
Welcome, Allanah! This is a great site, and your fellow Exante dieters are very supportive, warm and friendly. You'll lose a lot of weight at first which is fantastic for boosting your confidence. We all have favourites as you'll discover. The sweet packs generally beat the savoury ones by a mile LOL. Good luck, and keep posting x
 
Hazelnut shakes for the win! I ended up buying a load of bars Even though I've got 5 weeks left. But I can already count out the 3 moussaka and 3 lemon and raspberry that I have left...

first shake of the day gone. I'm on day five and I love this diet. So much choice :)
 
I'm really struggling with the products, I've tried the pancakes twice and gagged, I couldn't swallow the plain porridge because of the texture, the apple porridge was really salty, the cereal-type bars are oddly powdery and I spat them out. I don't like the soups, the texture of every meal except the sausage mix and carbonara makes me gag and the only shakes I like are the chocolate and strawberry. I did like the choc mint but Exante have confirmed that they changed the recipe a couple of months ago and now they're horrible.

Hi Allanah, Welcome to Exante! I'm re-starting today as I have been on/off for months and have now re-gained some weight. When are you getting Married? X
 
Hi allanah, welcome! I love the choice too. Tastes change and like me, being on it almost longterm now I go through phases of liking certain packs and then going off them for a while. Great to have so many options.
 
Hey cherrybomb. Sorry your struggling. The pancakes I made with about 200 ml of water, I kept adding until it was batter consistency and then ate them. They tasted great and made quite big ones too. I think it may be trail and error for everything. Shakes I've been splitting in to two and having them thinner as I can't have think shakes. As for bars which have you tried? It may just be the different bars. I literally bought one of everything and will just swap or sell the ones I don't like. Maybe check out the Face book pages and see if there are any different things you could try

Hi Allanah! Welcome to extante. I started the day after you - had my first full TS day today, but been preparing my body with low carb for the past 3 days. I've got the mixed pack and loving the choice. Just trying to get to grips with making some things. Had the pizza today and made it too thick, so be careful if you have that. Tried some shake in a coffee and that was yum :) :) x
 
Did I ever say how much I love this diet! The bars are amazing! I can take one to work and not have to worry about food at all!!
 
looking forward to a new me. I have to hiccups coming. On on the 9th may which is a meet up of a group of brides I know we're all meeting in Manchester going to the tea rooms and going to birdcage. I will be screwed on this but hoping I can quickly get back in ketosis and lose more that week. And my second is mid June which is my nephews christening which I'm looking forward to but again, lots to lose. I don't mind as long as I can stick back at it when I fall off. It's usually my downfall
 
It's good to forward plan for hiccups - then they're not disasters. I don't want to become unsociable because of the diet so I'm trying to plan ahead. Seeing my BFs family this week, making bridesmaids dresses for a family wedding so have to go there, told them I'm low carbing so I can at least eat with them but not get out of ketosis. It's gonna feel like a treat real food haha x
 
So I stood on the scales and I've lost.... 8LBS! Love it got to loose so much more but it's made me feel great! Onward and upward for next week. I'm hoping for an adverage of about 3lbs a week or so :)

So I had a cheeky stand on the scales this morning and boom! Down to 14st exactly! 1 1/2 lbs in a day
 
So I get a phone call... "Hi love I'm at burger king do you want anything?" Seriously!!! What doesn't he get when you say no food??
 
Hahaha it's so frustrating! How many times do we have to point it out. My boyfriend is good, but my friends are always trying to give me chocolate or alcohol! X

Quickly working my way though these meals. I can't stomach beef casserole don't like the turkey dinner. But sausages are great!
 
I am so annoyed! I have been so good these past few days. No cheating, drank 3.5l of water a day, I've had one coke zero! And I went swimming on Friday and yet I have some how managed to knock myself out of ketosis! I don't even understand!
