Total Solution Day 1 on nic nick's wedding dress crusade

Hi everyone!

I have started exante today in a bid to get into my wedding dress, I bought it in Jan and it was a bit snug, i tried weight watchers but lost a measily 10 lbs in 3 1/2 months! Time for action!

Breakfast - strawberry shake, nice not powdery

Lunch - double choc bar - yum yum

Late afternoon - Choc shake, really nice

Dinner - spag bol, little strange, think I need to eat from a smaller bowl as it looked tiny!

Really thought I wouldn't make it through day 1, so proud of myself!
 
I'm proud of you too!!
A good start is half the battle :D
 
Day 2 - oh my, woke up starrrving this morning! So I had porridge for breakfast which was really nice and filling!

Tried the Strawberry & white choc chip bar, didn't really enjoy it, it had a metallic taste to me!

Shepherds pie was nice and had a thick consistency.

The water also means I spend half my life in the toilet! All helps to burn calories!:rolleyes:
 
Haven't had the porridge yet, but it sounds good. Well done on Day 2 - are you getting headaches? I'm dying with them all day today.

I swear, I was out with Hubs walking (at least 20 minutes proper walking every day, hail, rain, or shine!) this afternoon, and we are halfways through our normal lap and I announce that I need to use the bathroom, and Hubs says "Why didn't you go before we left?!" - and I say "I DID!" :D

It's ridiculous. The time we'd save if we just poured the water into the toilet straight from the bottle!

Ha! yeah totally get that, have to keep stopping the tv ever 1/2 hr for a wee, thank goodness for Sky +

Day 3 - and today I woke and felt like I was dying! I have been tired all day, could barely keep my eyes open at the computer screen! Hope you are feeling better today Empath!
I could have quit today as I felt like poo and I didn't sleep very well last night, I was having a few nightmares which always happens to me when I start a diet, must be something to do with the toxins leaving your body!

Today I had the maple syrup pancakes. They didn't look like pancakes as everything sticks to my frying pan, so kind of had a plate of mush, tasted alright though!

Also tried the vegetable soup, which was OK. I done Cambridge a few years ago and remember the soups being awful, so I had my reservations.
 
Feeling very nauseous today, but at least the headache isn't as bad as it was.
I felt fine this morning (although now you mention it, I had very vivid dreams last night aswell, hmmm) but I am SO tired now!!

Glad you got on okay with the pancakes. I've not tried the Vegetable soup yet, but might have some later, if I can face it.

Day 4 -feeling slightly better today, but my stomach is always gurgling or rumbling! Maybe it's the skinny person trying to get out!


Tried the lemon bar today, it tasted OK but it was a bit too chewy, good thing was it took me ages to eat it.
 
Day 5 was my first challenge, I had arranged weeks ago to go out with my friends for dinner.

I decided to have a meal as I have to make this diet work for me in the long term as I have over 9 stone to lose.

I went for a chicken & bacon salad, it was divine! It had coleslaw with it but judging by the rest of the menu it was the lesser of evils!

I got on the scales and I had gained two pounds this morning, but I am back on it today so hoping they will go as fast as they came!
 
Day 6 - another challenging day, I was doing so well all day until I went to a eurovision party last night.

I didn't drink but caved in when the crisps and dip came out! My favourite!

So back on it again today, I have put a silver star in my diary every day I achieve 100% and I am determined to put one in against today!
 
I loved Eurovision! :) don't worry about those crisps...you're doing well just getting back on it. Have you tried any bars yet??? I put my chocolate ones in the freezer then cut them into chunks and eat it like sweets while watching tv. Stops me reaching for naughtiest :) xxx
