Maintaining and feeling good!

Well, it's been 5 weeks since I came off exante and I have lost a further 3lbs. This is partly because I wasn't quite at target when I finished but also because I'm still figuring out how many calories suit me etc.
I'm feeling great though, gone from 12st 7lbs to 9st 12lbs! I'm so positive about maintaining and I've never felt like this when finishing a diet before. I never want to go back to how I was so it really does feel different this time and i feel like I can do this!

Great to read everyone else's experiences!

Well done us!!

what eating plan did you follow when you came off x

I'm calorie counting using my fitness pal. Just trying to eat healthily and I'm going to the gym. I still have treats every now and then but I make sure I put the work in at the gym to earn it!

thats great, it is worry tha when you come off this diet and eat anything with carbs your weight will just rush back on lol
please keep me up dated x
going to the gym is something im looking forward to x

I did watch my carb intake at the beginning and I still don't go crazy with them now..
I put on 1lb after my first week off exante but it came off itself. It takes a couple of weeks for ur body to get used to having food again but it settles down.

Hi all!! Hope everyone is doing great. Well it's been 10 months since I came off plan and I'm still maintaining!!! I can't quite believe it! I could happily shout from the roof tops IM A SIZE 10!!!!!

I always used to think I'm just supposed to be big but that's not the case for anyone an I am proof. If I did this then anyone can. That 3 stone I lost will never come back!!!

You can do it!!!!

Wow Skinni, that's amazing. Well done xx

Well hey there GP! How's things? Hope all I well with you! xx

Hi Skinni, all's good thanks. Determined to get where you are and stay there this time around!! :D xx

You will get there! No worries, you know you can do it! It's not easy but is I doable. I still have days when I get a bit fed up and I have weekends that go very astray! But! I get back on the wagon. I weigh once a week and know its easier to get myself back on track for a couple of lbs than it would be a couple of stone again! I have to admit that I always new to keep my eye on the ball with my weight. I love being how I am now so I sometimes nee to give myself a good talking too!!

Xx

Sounds very sensible xx

Thanks for this post, this is one of my worries when I introduce food. I was planning on using MFP too and exercise.

It's great to hear about your on going success. You are an inspiration

Hi Skinni thanks for the update, its good to read as a new starter with a very similar weight/goals. I resigned myself to the fact that because I'm over 40, this must be my destined weight, despite being a few stone lighter after having my children, again when I got to goal but didn't keep there. I have felt dreadful at times as I carry most of my weight around the middle. I really need to learn how to keep at goal without it becoming a chore, so reading this is inspiring. I want to eat healthy and to know how to stay at goal. Keep up the good work and well done.

How you doing? It would be great to get an update skinny!
