The powerhoop classes are brilliant. You do lots of lifting the hoop with one hand and passing a ball round the circle. or kicking a ball to each other. Some of the ladies can get down on their knees. I can spin the hoop in one direction and managed 32 spins the other way this afternoon. That is as fancy as I get!
You seem to be a fitness fanatic too keep up the good work.

Would it not be easier weighing yourself with and then without the hoop

How do you work out your calories used ?
Do you have one of those watch things that work it out Mere ?
I would love something like that

Hi Marge I agree it would be easier to weigh myself with and without hoop but I do not want to weigh myself until Wednesday.
Yes I do have a heart rate monitor it is great because I like to keep track of the calories I burn off.

    Hi Marge
My heart rate monitor is a Polar it was quite expensive at about 70 from Amazon. My friend got one from Argos for 29.99 but it is rubbish she can't get it to work properly. All the trainers at the gym have had a look at it but no-one can work it. Careful what you buy because they don't all show a calorie count and if you are watching your weight you need that facility. Let me know if you decide to get one. x

    Hi Folks
Gym this morning. Boiler had gone on fire last night so there was no heating. Zumba class went ahead with everyone in their coats.
At the end of an hour we had shed the outer wear and were all sweating!!! Strange sensation to have arms cold but to be sweating.
Came home and did 30 mins Zumba on the wii not such good fun.
