Just finished this book, it's a good read for anyone on a VLCD. Try it, reading fills the gap created by not eating. This book suggests learning to play a musical instrument as distraction - but I just read the book.

That's quite a good idea really, I played an instrument for years and years and found that it wasn't just something to keep your hands busy but it's a sense of achievement too. Gives you a real boost.
Never got to grips with the guitar though, shame really, I loved it. But my hands are so small, I had to stretch too much![]()
