Heartburn?

I do a mixture of WS and TS (usually 5 TS and 2 WS a week) when I am doing a long stint of TS like I did this week for five days, when I'm on the fourth and fifth days I get really bad heartburn, does anyone else get this and if so do you take anything? I managed to avoid having anything but it really did get bad at one point.
I'm doing a long stint this week as I have no socialising (that's the only times I do WS) and I'm worried it will happen again!
Any guidance is greatly appreciated :)

TS normally helps my heartburn/acid etc but you can take ranatadine (not sure on spelling) it's a small tablet and very good and keto friendly I was told :)

Hi there

I'm a long time suffered of heartburn (hereditary - thanks mum!) both on VLCD and off them.

Ranitidine works well (Zantac is a brand name, but doesn't work any better than generic makes) and you can get it from all chemists and I've even seen it in Tesco, alongside the Rennies. If you're getting it regularly, its best to take one every day to stop it happening.

For immediate relief, peppermint tea REALLY helps, but don't make it too strong or it's awful! :p

Please, don't underestimate how serious heartburn can be if you suffer a lot. It's actually stomach acid burning your esophagus and really needs to be kept at bay. I'm actually on prescribed medication for it now (Omeprazole).
