    In ketosis, but still really hungry

    I am drinking well over 2 litres of water a day. According to my test sticks I went into ketosis in the evening of day 1 and am still there on day 4. From reading through the posts, it seems that most people stop feeling hungry when in ketosis. Has anyone had my experience? Even food I hate is beginning to look attractive to me I am soooooo hungry.

    It took me well over a week to stop feeling weak and hungry. Up water intake to 4 litres and keep going!

    Total loss as of March 17th- 56lbs

    It's hard at the start but keep going. I was a week and a half and still hungry so I switched to WS. Do other things to occupy ur mind. Read a Book. have a bath. Have some green tea. These days i have to Remind myself to eat. i am in week 5. Still loosing weight and very happy with my progress. (Almost 19lbs in 1 month) So whatever u do don't give in yet this really does work.

    Week 1: -10 lbs
    week 2: -4 lbs ...a stone in 2 weeks and only 12lbs from goal!

    Week 4: -2.5lbs

    I've just finished week 4 and spend a lot of the day hungry. Although it is a dampened down hunger to what I feel when not in ketosis. You kind of get used to it! lol. I also crave all sorts of food a lot of the time too. It's a really tough diet to stick to, but soooo worth it! It's hard being fat, it's hard dieting. Battle through Good luck

    The hunger pangs dwindle with time but I used to find that it was the smells of food that set me off and so whenever I smelt something nice I just sniffed some of my perfume as a distraction. It did help and by week 2 it just became easier and easier to deal with. Good luck. x
