    Day 1 tomorrow - lets do this!!!!!

    I've done Cambridge and lighter life, lost 3 stone but put it back on due to illness. I am actually quite excited I remember how I felt after the 3 stones were off and I felt amazing. I have an added incentive I have moved to Gibraltar and I refuse to bake myself in clothes during the summer months just because I am ashamed of my body. I have found that everyone seems to have an uneducation opinion about VLCDs, so I have decided to keep it to myself as long as I can.

    I hope oped that being on here will help me during my bad days, as I know there will be quite a few of those.

    I have told loads of people but I find people like my parents just don't get it and a few of my friends have like I said an uneducated opinion. I do think its a lack of understanding of Vlcds, don't get me wrong the people that matter do know and fully support me. And tbh I'm doing this for me and no one else

    Day 1 today and I am very positive, even my black coffee tastes great this time round!!!

    Not a bad first day 1 me thinks. Shake this morning choc...hmmmm, had better) porridge about 5, the bar just now. Water target reached, but.........my head is pounding!!!! Lucky I have loads of paracetamol in.

    I think for me it will be one day at a time, I cannot think about 6,7 or 12 weeks down the line, I just can't. Does that make me weak?

    Hi Peggy. One day at a time is a good plan cos there is a lot to cope with in the early days. The headaches & nausea are horrible aren't they. And no it doesn't make you weak at all. As you said you are doing this for yourself so you have to do it the way that's best for you. Remember though that after the first 3-4 days it will get easier.

    Well, that's day 2 done and my headaches are what is getting to me. I just keep telling myself they will go away. I was thinking today about what difference I'd like to see first, answer?..... My boobs, made myself giggle a bit but if I put a pound of weight on that's where it will go. Apart from my head I've been great today, I can deal with hunger, in my last job I did shifts and if things went pear shaped I didn't get to eat anything at all. I often put my weight down to these shifts because I never ate sensibly while I worked, but when I did it was always food on the go. There are other things too like children lol.

    I think I have a different frame of mind this time round, living in a hot country makes me dread the summer and I REALLY don't want to feel like that, besides the kids won't take no for an answer when the want to mess about in the pool. So I know I said I was doing it for me but also in a way for my kids and husband, I want to enjoy our time out here without me sitting on the sidelines being miserable.

    Omg. I have too much to say tonight lol

    Really hate weekends, I'd forgotten how much they affected me on this diet. I keep trying to focus on the long term goal but it's so difficult.

    On the plus side, I have got through day 4 no problem, but with a headache. Hoping tomorrow it will be gone.
