Total Solution Week 3 Plateau

Hi!

Has anyone else experienced a mini-plateau in wk 3? Now on day 22 and it's gone...

Day 7: -5.6lbs
Day 14: -3.8lbs
Day 21: -1lb

So it's -10.4lbs total, which is fine, but was surprised at the much lower loss this week (hey, a loss is a loss - still happy!)

I *think* this might be normal at this stage so not too concerned but wondered if anyone else has experienced similar?

I think this does happen then you will have a spurt
 
im sure it happens i had totm in week 2 and hardly had a loss then i dont know wat really happened this week as my scales are not showing any loss either even though i have been 100% and actually walked a lot. I measured myself and i have lost some inches so i have decided not to worry about wat the scales say as i know that as long as i am 100% im actually losing something im afraid i will end up falling off the wagon if i rely on the scales too much.
 
Are you drinking more after your walk etc drink your 2-3 litres like normal then try and have a bit more after your walks. See if that helps.
 
i do i actually drink up to about 4ltrs of water every day i spend nearly 3/4 of the day at Uni then walk from the train station to home about 30mins and drink some more, i just noticed some inch losses so i will try not to be bothered about that at the moment will c how next week goes
 
Yes, I think I need to buy a tape measure too - that sounds like a good idea.

Weirdly, yesterday eve (day 25) I felt AWFUL - like I did when I first went into ketosis. Headache, nausea, cold feet, emotional. I've been 100% so couldn't have eaten anything to knock me out of ketosis but wondering if this is my body re-booting after the week 3 lull! I hope so (though could do without this headache), Thursday's weigh-in will be interesting...

After TOTM your body may just be having a moment to its self and figuiring out whats going on. Doing this diet 100% you can only loose weight. Keep the positive attitude :)
 
My plateaus so far have been weeks 5 and 7. Lost just a pound each time but the weeks before were bigger so it does even out eventually trust me :)
 
thanks a lot looking forward to the next coming week will weigh myself ater a fortnight just give myself time to adjust
