Starting Total Solution- How long can I expect to be on it?

Fresh start to the year- Christmas temptations out of the way, it is time to start my get healthy and slim challenge!

After being asked to be a bridesmaid for a wedding abroad, I am keen to lose weight once and for all! I really want to enjoy the wedding- (and the heat in August)and feel fab in a bridesmaid dress rather than hot and fat like a roasted pig!!

I have until July to lose the weight. Ideally, for my height of 5'1 I need to be between 8 and 9 stone- currently around 15stone (too scared to weigh after xmas!)
My friend has just done the cambridge diet and her weightloss has been very successful and she looks fantastic! She is the bride :)

I came across Exante and have ordered the first weeks supply! Seeing as I have aroud 6 stone too lose, will I need to remain on Total Solution for nearly all this time? I wonder if any current users could help?

Hello :) Good luck with your journey! You can lose pretty quickly on Exante but will need will power to stick with it. If you can do that then the results will do the rest :) Most people lose around a stone a month, I lost more than a stone in 18 days on Exante xx

Wow that is fab! Congratuations on your weightloss! I'm very motivated and after doing WW a few times think I need the fast results to avoid losing motivation!

How did you find it? Did you do the food break week? My friend is on the cambridge diet and she doesnt have a break until the 12th week!

Hiya :) I only did it for the 18 days, last year, and then ran out of supplies and couldnt afford more. Months past and now here i am 10 months later and 3st 12lbs heavier, but i have lots of supplies this time and am in it for the long haul! Im currently on Day 3 and am inKetosis, so dont really feel hungry and all the meals im cokking for my family arnt bothering me. I hope it lats because i feel really strong and determined at the moment! I weighed this morning and have lost 4lbs after the first 2 days so thats a great boost! On Exante you take a food break every 21 days, but to be honest i dont want to, so i will need to look into it to see if i really HAVE to. Id rather stay on this for the 100 days and then learn how to stabalise my weightloss at the end before going onto food. Hope you are feeling good today hun :) xx

Yeah I'm worrying slightly about the cost but then I think I'm not buying any other food, no alcohol or other drinks, not as much washing up liquid even! Also hoping to sell all my fat clothes on ebay!


How do you know if your in ketosis? Have you got ketostix or do you feel just no hunger?

4lb off is good! I hope I do well too! I can imagine me to be one of those people who for some unknown reason doesnt lose any weight!!

So what is your 100 days thing? I'd rather not have the break too- if you dont on cambridge I dont know why you have to on exante!

Oooh thats a good point! I am saving money on all the food i would gobble up! That makes me feel better :) Yeah you're right! CD dont have the break after 21 days so i guess i dont have to. I wont then. Yeah i have Ketostix, I had a dark reading this morning so was landed! But i just done one 20 minutes ago and it was nothing so dont know if its because i have obviously been drinking lots of water right up to the minute i done it, So it could be a weak reading? I will find out once i do it again in the morning. The 100 day Challenge is something i joined in one of the threads, Its to stay 100% for 100 days, Which works out exactly how long iv got until i go away to visit family anyway so a great incentive to shift most of the weight in that time and stay with this plan. How are you finding it today? :) xx

Perhaps you do need a food break for your metabolism- I'm just worried that I'll get out of the routine of TS.

I may have to get some of those ketostix- though I guess people say you can tell if your in ketosis because of the bad breath etc! How did you get on with the side effects before?


Ahh right! So 100% means like no cheating? Or on TS for 100days?

Starting today- I received my products late afternoon y'day so will start from now. The bars look really good and I'm actually excited to start! I need to go to town and get a blender though!

TS for 100 days 100% no cheating :) Iv decided i wont be taking a food break until im at least 11st 7lbs. Its so hard to get into this 'zone' once im out, im not going to risk it. The only side effects iv had is smally breath and (sorry) runny poo! Lol xx

What lovely side effects aye! But all worth it! Yeah I think I'm going to have a food break but when I feel ready- I don't wanna break the zone and 3 weeks is quite early on!
