Anybody want to give advice on the best ways to make the soups, shakes, porridge and carbonaras?

With the soups i use 500ml of boiling water and put it in the blender. Then i add lots of pepper :)
I'm not keen on shakes in general but when i have had them i do the same with the blender but add ice too. I'm yet to try the carbonara or porridge to can't help you with that yet x
I had the bar today- that was fine. Then I had the soup which I found quite hard to drink- thought I'd prefer the creamy texture but ended up watering it down too.
I'm gonna try carbonara for tea so I will let you know if they are worth buying!
Porridge is lush, I make mine up with cinnamon and let it cook tiil it's quite thick. Carbonara is absolutely rank ... I've yet to find away to make it nice. It's like eating a bag of salt.
I always add bouillon to the soups and make them with 330mls of water. I also add curry powder, cayenne paprika etc. makes them really nice. Enjoy x
Ahh thanks for that advice! I've ordered a few packs of carbonara! Might leave it til tomorrow!! How do you find the shakes?
I've just ordered 5 packs of carbonara too :/ are they not nice then? I really really dislike the soups! That's 24 packs gone to waste lol!
I really like the carbonara but I think it down to personal taste as I don't find it as salty as other people have said, but then I put salt in everything!
I don't like the soups either but what I learnt off a friend on the Cambridge diet which works for exante soups is to mix the power with 2 tbs of water, mix into a thick paste, spread evenly into baking paper and microwave for 2 mins. It goes like a crisp and so much easy to eat- also mix salt, pepper, tabasco or something in gives it a nicer taste! Hope that helps! It seems like you have to experiment a bit!
I love the porridge, I do it with 8oz of water and cinnamon. Mix in your shaker, mircowave in 60 sec bursts stirring until its as thick as you like. I add more cinnamon once it's cooked ... I rally look forward to it!! I always make the soups up with more water (normally 330mls)
I've heard people say you can bake the porridge into biscuits by mixing them into a thick paste, spreading on baking paper sprinkle with cinnamon and bake ... Never tried it but def sounds nice x
