    Any over 60's out there?

Hi, I'm Annie and I'm 61. I felt like my life was over because I'd gained so much weight, my hips hurt, my knees hurt and I had no energy. However I had a brilliant time at my work Christmas party but when I saw the photos I was horrified at how huge I was. That was a nemesis for me because I realised I could still have a great time but I needed to do something about my weight. Found Exante while looking for LighterLife. Only been on it 2 weeks but I already feel younger and healthier. I just hope I can hang on to this optimism!

    Hi Damsel
I am 63 and like you I found Exante while looking for Lighter Life. I have been on TS for two weeks now but have only lost 4.5lbs which isn't much of a loss compared to the people who lose 14 upwards on their first week but hey I feel my clothes a bit slacker. I wish you well on your weight loss journey. Just think how you will feel in your party frock at the next works Christmas party.

Hi, I am doing TS. Lost 9lbs the first week and 4 lbs the second which i was really surprised at because I thought it would be harder to lose the older you got. That is why I wondered if there were others doing Exante and how they were getting on. (Not because I didn't want to talk to younger folk!) Have you just started Exante?

Hello Mere, It's good to know I'm not the only over 60! How are you finding it? Have you stuck to TS 100%? I've managed to stick to 100% so far but have found it quite hard and I'm craving a curry like mad! I'll try and make it 3 weeks then I can have some food.

    Hi Annie
I'm not sure if you have the soups or not... but I add some curry powder to the mushroom soup, which does help me with curry cravings
I normally add chilli flakes or powder to the tomato one

Oh I love the idea of curry powder in the mushroom soup, will definitely give that a try! Chilli flakes in tomato soup too - the spicier the better. Many thanks for those tips, I can't wait for dinner now!

    Hi Damsel
I have been TS 100%. I have not found it too hard except for day 11 when I was hungry all day. I have been fine since then. Because my weight loss is very slow I have been going to the gym more often this week so hopefully I will have a better loss at the end of week 3. I thought maybe my age was against me but you have had a super loss, well done.

Hi Mere, I have a lot more weight to lose than you and I think the more you have to lose the more you lose in the first weeks but I know it will even out. I am so impressed that you go to the gym. My only exercise is walking the dog and throwing frisbee for him. Also you'll be building muscle - well done that lady! What day do you weigh in? I do Tuesday morning and my hubby weighs me and records it!

Yum yum yum. Added tandoori powder and a few chilli flakes to the mushroom soup - had to drink two pints of water with it as it was rather hot - but I loved it! Thank you! Any more tricks up your sleeve?

    Thats excellent
It does take the hankering away eh ?
I'm not sure about any more tips .... do you have any shakes?
I always split mine, and have them in coffee, like coffee whitener
Other than that, thats about it, I think. Whatever gets you through eh ?
I am glad worked for you though

    Hi Damsel
I weigh in on a Wednesday morning at the gym and one of the personal trainers weighs me. There is a group of 6 of us get weighed. My friend and I have the same body shape big boobs and stomach with skinny arms and legs so we are in competition with each other. She is doing calorie counting and is only 2lbs heavier than me so it will be interesting to see how Exante does against a more traditional diet.
