    Does the taste get better?!

Day 1 of exante, had a shake for breakfast, i couldnt finish it, i was gagging the whole way through, such a shame! does the taste get better? ive had a little taste of all of them and theres none i really like at all, really dont want to feel like ive wasted money. Do you taste buds adapt?

What were you first thoughts when trying the shakes/soup?

    Thank you!!!

Your tastes do change after a little while. Things you hated at first may become your favourites!

I have always hated the soups but then I don't like soup anyway so I stay away from those.
I also don't like the bars so I have Tesco ultraslim bars instead because they are lovely.
I love all the shakes though Used to hate strawberry and banana but now I love them.

Have you tried adding things to the shakes to make them taste different/better?
-Like you can make a thickshake in a blender using ice, water and your pack.
    -Putting sweetener in them.
-Putting a spoonful of coffee in them (I do this with most of mine)
    -Having the chocolate hot.
-Making a mug of mint tea and using that to make the choc pack so you have a hot mint choc.

There are also 'recipes' you can try with the packs.
There used to be a thread on here with lots of ideas but I don't know where its gone
    Here are what I remember
-Shmuffin. Add a few spoons of water to your pack, just enough to make a thick paste. Then microwave for 10 seconds at a time until it 'cooks'
-With the soups you can make 'crisps', Spread spoonfulls of the pack onto greaseproof paper and cook in the oven.
-Make the shakes up with fizzy water and pour it into ice lolly moulds to make shake-lollies.
-Make a shake or porridge pack up so it's quite thick (like a thick paste) and put it on greaseproof paper and cook in the oven to make a 'cookie'

If you do 'cook' packs just remember you can only do it for 1 pack a day, no more.

I think learning how to make the shakes into a form that you like will help a lot.
I add only 200ml of water and use a stick blender to make it very thick and frothy, before I was using 400ml of water and it was too watered down.

I'm on day 2 and had the tomato soup and chic shake yesterday and wasn't keen on either - I added a sweetener and a teaspoon of coffee to the shake and chilli flakes and pepper to the soup and actually enjoyed them! Had the chicken and banana today and loved them both as they were!
