    High Fat Content?

    Just reading the back on one of my shakes. 6.7g of fat and 3.5g of sat fat (so 20g and 10g) I know this is below the RDA, it just seems quite high, anyone know why. When I was dieting on normal food I kept my fat intake below 10g and my sat fat intake below 5g and lost 26lbs over 3 months. Just wondering why the fat content is so high is all

    Week 3 - 3lbs

    I don't know for sure but it's probably necessary. The fact you go into ketosis on this diet means you burn fat first. I don't think it would be more beneficial to be low fat. Does that make sense at all? Probably not!
    Started Exante TS 15th Feb

    Week 1: -10 lbs
    week 2: -4 lbs ...a stone in 2 weeks and only 12lbs from goal!
    Week 3: -4lbs
    Week 4: -2.5lbs

    The calories have to come from somewhere I guess, even if they're not that much.

    Week 3 - 17st 0lbs = 2.5lb loss

    Week 6 - 16st 4.25lbs = 5lb loss
    Week 7 - 16st 1.25lbs = 3lb loss
    Week 8 - 15st 12lbs = 3.25lb loss
    Week 9 - 15st 9.5lbs = 3.25lb loss
    Week 10 - 15st 5.5lbs = 3.25lb loss

    Yeah its obviously not doing anything bad as we are all still losing weight, just wondered why it was quite high for just a powder.
