Total Solution any former lipotrim users-how does weight loss compare?

hi
this is my first post.
tomorrow i will have completed my first week on exante and i am so concerned about my first week's loss that i am considering not weighing myself.

i have done lipotrim successfully a number of times over the last few years and have always had excellent losses so my expectations are high. i have always lost 12lb in the first week, 5lb in the second week and an average of 3lb a week subsequently.

i have started exante this time as i piled all the weight back on in my second pregnancy and so starting weighing more than ever at 212lb. i find with 2 kids getting to the pharmacy is too much of a bind-especially as my husband wants to do the diet also so exante seemed like the perfect solution.

i am just worried that the weight losses won't be as good given the calorie intake is 180kcal more than on lipotrim- nearly 50% more calories.

what are others' experience of comparative weight-loss i am scared that i might demotivate myself by weighing myself and wondering whether i should not bother?

i am planning/hoping to do this diet for 12 weeks til i go on holiday and then hopefully get back on it til i reach my goal of 133lb which is what i weighed this time last year before pregnancy :-(((

apart from my concerns about weight loss this diet is amazing compared to lipotrim- it tastes better, more variety and less hassle. the thought of having to go back on LT if this doesn't work fir me is too depressing....

can anyone reassure/advise?

thanks

I can't comment on Lipotrim as I've never done it, but I did Lighter Life several years ago and the other day I found my weigh in book and my first 3 weigh in results on Exante are identical to what I lost on LL, despite LL being 200 calories a day less.

thanks for your reply jael. i might still resist weighing and just do a monthly weigh in instead as i've read others doing this. i used to need to see the weightloss weekly to keep me going on LT but feeling motivated without weighing at moment

Good luck if you do the monthly weigh-in. I'm a daily weigher, I'm a bit obsessed I'm afraid, even skipping one day's weigh in makes me skittish lol.

Ive done lipotrim twice...

Lost about 5 st in 4 months each time. Exante in my opinion is better, the food choices are better, and tastier. I think you have more freedom on exante also...with drinks and changing flavours with herbs n spices. Plus the bars are way better.

Ive just done my first week on exante, i lost 10lbs....
My first weeks on lipotrim i lost 10lbs first time round and 14 second time round ( if i remember rightly that week was 9 days because of my chemists availibility) . I think there much the same...especially if you excercise .

Good luck.

I did Lipotrim last year, and restarted with Exante this year at about the same weight (few lbs lighter). In comparison, my weight loss at week 5 is 1lb less than on Lipotrim. However, I haven't exercised as much as I did on Lipotrim. I'm actually finding it easier not to and I'm not getting as hungry.

Good luck :)

Thanks Jayne and nix for your responses.so good to hear your weightlosses are similar. I'm nrly at end of week 3 and it's so much bette than lipotrim in terms of taste and choice. Still avoiding weighing as I know I wil be demotivated if it's not where I expect so just tracking in my head what I hope to be.can def feel and see the loss tho so alll good :)
