Hi all,

Im currently doing Lipotrim but at the beginning of December I will be coming off as my Pharamacy will no longer be doing it. I am taking December to mid January off as I will be out of the Country but am thinking of starting Exante when I return home.

So I will wondering if anybody could just give me info about their experiences and/or opinions of Exante. And how the Total Solution works? Am I right in saying it's 3 meal replacements a day and 2-4 litres of water like Lipotrim?? And Im a bit confused about the food week too

Thanks

Hey, I changed from lipotrim too.
Exante tastes much nicer, yep it's just the same 3 packs and water.
I think the food break is just to cover there bums coz you ain't got anyone watching over you.

Maybe naughty but I've never had a food break.
I just restarted on Monday and I've got 4 stone to lose and don't intend to do any food breaks this time either.

Thanks very much for the feedback Little-Miss-Perfect :) I think I definitely will do Exante after christmas now because I wasnt sure which VLCD to do but now I think Exante will suit me the best. Thanks again x

Exante is definitely less boring than LT but I have felt hungry a lot-even after 6 weeks I feel hungry many days a week.

Their customer service is absolutely dreadful too which really puts me off.

Also I've not lost anywhere near as fast as I did on LT (even starting from the same weight).

That's interesting. I thought on all VLCD's you lose close to the same amount and at approx the same rate? Im planning on doing Exante for a month and half maybe two months so I will be close enough to a healthy weight and will lose the rest through healthy eating and exercise. If you dont mind me asking how much have you lost in your 6 weeks?

i think each person differs to WL
my friend done it he lost 3st 4lbs first 6 weeks
but from 2nd week he incorped exercise and more water

I didn't weigh myself at the start but I know which trousers I started in :D

Same trousers were tighter when I did LT in Jan and 4 weeks later I was wearing the trousers I'm in now... It's taken 6 weeks on exante to drop the same size - I did start a little smaller this time too.

I got weighed two weeks ago and last Friday (weeks 4 and 6) I lost 2lbs in 2 weeks. I get weighed again this Friday so I'll let you know.

If it's bad I'm thinking of trying LT for a week to see how that goes.

Also before I tried a week of exante after 4 weeks of LT as I was really bored. I gained weight that week!

Today is my first day on exante... not felt too hungry either which really surprised me... so far I've had a apple and cinnamon porridge for breakfast (it was lovely) and a chocolate shake for lunch (so yummy!) and I have a shepherds pie for tea but I haven't eaten it yet... I don't think I'm drinking enough water though as I have a headache today :/ if you like I can update you next week to see how it goes (I've never been on a vlcd before so fingers crossed this works!)

Oh please keep me updated :) Im finding it really difficult to decide whether I want to do Exante after the holidays or go back to Lipotrim... I think Exante has a slower weightloss rate (I could be wrong??) which is kind of making me gear more towards Lipotrim. But I really dont wont to go back to the same boring flavours ha :(. Best of luck on your journey snookiepuss!! Have you got a diary? Maybe I could subscribe if you do :)

I'm just about to start one :)

Thank you :)

Update - been weighed.

I've lost 10lbs this month on exante... On LT I never lost less than a stone in a month.

Exante's customer service is dire - this REALLY puts me off ever doing them again.

Exante is less boring than LT though and cheaper.

I've lost slower on Exante because the calories are higher than other VLCD's (CD a shake was about 150, Exante 205). But I much prefer the taste of the Exante ones which is half the battle...with CD I would heave having some of them, it's only a matter of time then when you go back to your old ways if you are drinking something that you hate.
