Total Solution Journey to being comfortable

Not going to lie, I hate how I look at the moment. A man who works in a lab most of the days, a tight lab coat preventing me from turning without it hugging the side of my belly :( But now I am ready for this journey, a journey that will hopefully change my life for the good. As you may have noticed from my profile I am a 25 year old male Hematologist who is starting Exante Total solution tomorrow. I have always lacked motivation and i think thats what brought me here. Good Luck All.

Welcome Lupin1!

I won't lie to you, the first week is possibly the hardest, the things that struck me the most was how sensitive I was to other peoples eating habits, and how listening to someone eating a packet of crisps during my break was literally the most torturous moment of my life.

Having survived that first week I am now 12lbs lighter and it is getting far easier, of course I still would love nothing more than to eat my favourite meals, but the way I see it is that its a small price to pay to improve my health, and hopefully increase my lifespan!

I'm not sure about you, but I think reaching 25 has made me have a serious wake up call... If my life and weight continues as it has, then ii could be halfway through it already... Scary thought huh? I think there's something about working in healthcare that really drives this home!

i wish you all the luck in the world, and hope that you will come back and update us on your progress x

Well done on choosing to do a vlcd, it's not the easiest especially for the first three or four days before your body gets into ketosis but the results are so worth it. Men are especially lucky as there weight loss results are greater and quicker than they are for women.

Stick with it and please keep us posted as to how you're getting on.
