Starting my Exante TS diet again! Love this diet it really works, Lost nearly 3 stone on it last summer :) dropping down to a nice 10 stone 7lbs! However due to life circumstances and bits of bother, I slowly started going back to my old eating habits, ignoring the weight, ignoring the clothes getting tighter, not looking in the mirror, making excuses!
So here I am today, facing up to it and starting again, and looking forward to it, one day at a time!

I put a lot of weight back on and am currently 12st 11lbs , I want to do the TS for a few weeks and then maybe start on the Working/simple solution.

Anyway, interested to hear if anyone else fell off the wagon after reaching their goal weight and are on their second/third go? Or just anyone to share their story and losses, help keep me motivated because funnily enough, even though I saw first hand the success of my own weight loss its not a strong motivator this time round. Just need to get through the next 3/4 days to get into ketosis (usually takes me 4).

Good luck to all :)

Lol snap! Lost 4 stone last year then slowly 2 stone crept back and here I am again!

Welcome back :p

Thanks! I can get through the hunger pains, what I find really difficult is that I miss tasting different foods! That was really hard last time, but then, it did get easier after a while, usually just smelling the kids o/h dinner was enough of a fix! :D

Lol!! I end up smelling everything, my OH thinks I'm a right weirdo but it does help. Except with toast, that drives me crazy with cravings lol!

I'm on day 1, If you need to chat im here as I know come tomorrow or the next I will be struggling.

Hi Libralite
I am on day 2 of TS - feeling hungry! I lost 3 stone on Lighter Life a few years ago but didn't reintroduce food properly - (mainly due to the cost) and went back to my old ways so put all the weight back on.
Have got to the point where I'm just not comfortable in anything - don't want to buy any more big sizes so don't go shopping!
My husband has also started TS but our son lives at home currently so I still need to buy and cook food! It will be great to compare notes and strategies with you about dealing with food situations day to day - and just general encouragement really! (I don't even know if this is the right way to go about posting!

Hi there :)
I WAS on day 2 until I fell of the wagon spectacularly about an hour ago  I refuse to give up though going to try again tomorrow, I know I can do it I've done it before, guess I'm lacking motivation maybe? When I lost the three stone last year my o/h was on tour with the army so I wanted to surprise him (and myself) with my new figure.

I too didn't reintroduce food properly although my portion size was significantly less...but eventually they got larger, I got lazier, and here I am :D

Would be good to share tips etc. Keep everyone going!

So tomorrow I start again...We can do THIS! :)

Lost a lb in just 2 days despite my binge yesterday! Given me the determination to stick to this now :)
So today is Day 1 (again). good luck all!

Hey that's great Libralite! You can do this! Is there anything likely to happen today that might jeopardise you! Are you having just shakes - or do you like all the Exante options? My hubby and I just ordered soups and shakes!

Do you have times to eat set out in your head already? I work in a school and this is half term so I'm still in bed! Will try not to have first shake til as late as possible so I can have one late afternoon and one in the evening!

I want to go out and find some vegetable bouillon as well - as that's almost like a soup!

I didn't have too much planned for this week so to keep me out of the kitchen I have taken up knitting!

I'm determined not to go near any scales until Tuesday!

Good luck today Libralite!

Hi, I am totally new to forums., I have always been wary about writing on them, I don't know why. Anyway I am bursting to spread my news. I started the Extante Total Solutions diet last Friday (Valentine's Day) I know what a day to start. I have about 2 1/2 stones to loose. Anyway this morning was my first weigh in and I have lost 12 lbs, I am soooo chuffed. As most people the first 3 days were the hardest, not necessarily the hunger issue but banging headaches. Still I battled through it and it just shows it was worth it. I have 2 shakes and a bar a day and have to honestly say I don't feel hunger, I do have cravings just to taste food, not eat it just taste it. Really proud of myself

Manda Panda that's a fantastic loss for your first week! Well done for being so strong! I just hope I can achieve something similar when I weigh myself on Tuesday! I know once day 3 (today) is over I shouldn't feel too hungry- it's evading temptations laid out for me by others. I had to wait til all the dinner dates were over before starting - but who am I kidding? Food surrounds us every day! Good luck as you begin your second week! I'm trying to work out how you get one of those ticker factory trackers on your profile?

Patsypal3 haven't a clue regarding the ticker tracker, as I said I'm new to all this so if someone could kindly let us know ! Really it does get much easier and to be honest I like the feeling of not feeling bloated every day by eating. I was hoping to loose 7lb so when I weighed this morning I was elated and it has really spurred me to sticking 100% this week. I do drink plenty of water though and for the first few days was running to the loo all the time but now it has calmed down. I know what you mean about waiting for dinner dates were over, but really you just have to draw a line and say 'right I'm starting today' otherwise there will always be something that gets in the way. I am sure you will do well, just remember to think to yourself 'is that nibble really worth it?' That's what I do and as I said earlier I do miss the taste of food more than the actual eating........if that makes sense !

Hi Patsy,

Ive mixed it up with shakes porridge and bars, have to say I do love the porridge could happily have it as all my three meals :D Been baking biscuits with the kids today, and you know what? It was easy! Loved the smell of them and it didnt set my hunger pains off at all...although is its fast approaching lunchtime I'm sure they will make an appearance, feel so focused now, maybe I needed one last binge before I said adios to regular food.

I am really struggling with the water intake though, I am tempted to buy the drink mix, but I think I read somewhere that you can only have a bit of it?? Not sure, guess I will have to take a look.

Going to try and stay off the scales til Next Thursday at the earliest....seems so far away!

Libralite :)

Wowza! Well done Manda Panda, If I can get just half of your success at the first weigh in I will be one happy lady!

Keep up the good work! :)

Sounds like you are doing great LibraLite, I considered making cakes with my boys but after this morning when I was tempted to eat the nutella I decided not to. I have a dreadful headache since yesterday so I'm a tad moody and hating these meals at the moment.
How are you going with the meals?
