    In need of a mood boost :(

    Not really sure what's wrong with me but been feeling quite down and really tired past 2 days!

    Gutted really as me and hubby are child free this eve and can't be bothered to do anything as we both have to work tomorrow.

    I never really feel like this when on meal replacements and am not liking it.

    Have managed to stay focussed though which is amazing as normally when feeling down first comfort would be to turn to food, even visited a friend last night and spent whole time turning down things that were offered to me (type of friend that always likes to sabotage my weight loss), not in a mean way but will keep trying to get me off plan! Although she's doing juice plus but has only managed a day or two.

    Anyhow just needed to vent how rubbish I am feeling and am hoping to be feeling better tomorrow

    Awww, I hope you feel better today? Its horrid when you feel like that.

    i find I get more down and also more bored when I'm on meal replacement diets. But I honestly think that it's because I use food to pass the time and for an emotional crutch when I'm not trying. Take that away and I seem to have some real down times!

    I've got round it this time by picturing my holiday in September wearing a size 14 and having a brilliant time. That cheers me up. I also force myself to go and do something even if I'm not in the mood. 9 times out of 10 I am always pleased I did it afterwards and it improves my mood.

    We're all different, but it might help. Good luck with your week xxx

    21/02/14 - 17st11lb (hoped for more due to ketosis) = 5.5 lb
    28/02/14 - 17st 5.5lb = 5.5 lb
    07/03/14 - 17st 1.5lb = 4.0 lb
    14/03/14 - 16st 13lb = 2.5 lb (Perhaps didn't drink enough??)
    21/03/14 - 16st 8.5lb = 4.5 lb

    total so far = 2st 5.5 lb

    Goal 1 = Get into ketosis! (Done 21/2)
    Goal 2 = Get into 16's (stones, sadly not clothes) (Done 14/3)
    Goal 3 = Monthly challenge: 14lb in 4 weeks from 14/3....
    Goal 4 = 15 stone by 10th May (holiday and friend's wedding)

    Not even sure it's bordom for me this week as it has been manic. I think it's my own fault as I have been weighing each day and the scales haven't moved for about 4 days, find this really disheartening when I have been 100% as just doesn't make sense.

    Only thing I can think of is that I have been gym 3 times and swam 4 times this week, I wouldn't normally have done either but had some free passes I wanted to make use of. Was hoping it would have helped with weight loss though?

    You going anywhere nice Allie? I am off to florida in aug, hence wanting to lose some more of this dreaded weight xx

    Wow Florida!! Er, no. I'm not going anywhere that exciting. I'm going to benidorm of all places! I am going with 3 friends. We usually go to Tunisia, but last year we all ended up with cabin fever because there aren't many places you can go to on your own without feeling threatened. So we've opted for a completely touristy (and boozy) holiday for a change, lol!

    You could have gained some muscle with the exercise? Have you been drinking enough to make up for the exercise? I've found that if I don't make an effort to drink enough then my loss isn't so good. I don't weigh myself daily (I find getting on the scales stressful just once a week, lol). But I know what you mean, if I lose less than 3lbs a week I get disheartened.

    But if you stick to it it will come off. I usually have a better loss following a disappointing one (this isn't the first VLCD I've done either). Keep going and try to keep your chin up. We all have times like this xxxxxxx

    Benidorm sounds fab and much more relaxing than florida lol

    Am hoping the exercise is maybe the cause seeing as muscle is heavier than fat an all that, although am sure it takes more than a few sessions for that change to happen?

    Have decided to change my weigh in day from a monday to a friday so if i do have a day off over the weekend i have the rest of the week to redeem myself!
    Am due on in few days so am interested to see if the weight does change but am going to try and not weigh now till fri.

    Did glug loads when exercising, always find I drink more water when on vlcd anyway as only way to fill myself up lol xx
