Day two of exante struggling!!!!

Nearly through day 2 but sooo hungry! My mind is doing me in keep saying to myself this isn't for you just give it up and start again another day, order a pizza and have a glass of wine! But the rest of me is thinking no way! I have a very short time to lose 2 stone and constantly quitting and restarting is not going to get me there.

Anyone else new and struggling? Xx

Step away form the wine and pizza lol

Are you glugging enough water? First 7-10 days are the hardest but it does become the norm pretty soon and your body will stop the craving for food.

I am on day 8 of TS and am definitely in ketosis as have metallic taste in my mouth and my tummy rumbles like mad at night but it's not cause I am hungry.
I have been on exante as and when I feel like it since end of jan and have lost 2st5lbs so believe me it can be done if you stick with it. Oh and I have always had tea and coffee whilst on vlcd and this has never really seemed to make a big difference on my losses or ketosis. I tend to use tea and coffee to fill up on in-between my shakes.

Thanks for the reply, knowing someone else is out there going through the same thing is reassuring!! I've drunk about 1.8l of water today so going to make sure I get to 2.5 before bed.

I just went and tried on my bikinis for holiday and kept thinking how much nicer they would look without the overhang and that's keeping me going. It's so much more than physical hunger pangs isn't it, my mind is my own worst enemy. The last two days I've had 3 shakes and a bit of chicken and veg. Going to try and do without the chicken from now on just needed to ease myself in.

Hope I get into ketosis soon!! Maybe tomorrow will be the day?? How much did you lose in the first week? You're doing really well xx

I started on Monday and found today really hard, bit of a headache and very noisy tum, roll on ketosis! I've been managing 2L a day, would like to up it to 3, but fed up of going the loo lol.

Keep up the good work and you'll soon be looking good in your bikinis, don't be like me, I came back from hols a couple of weeks ago, every year I lay on the sun bed and promise myself that I will lose the weight and not feel awful in my swimwear, so I decided now's the time to start, no excuses :eek:

Oh I can only dream of wearing a bikini lol
I think even if I hit a healthy weight range my tummy would still be too flabby!
I've gone down a bra and knicker size so at least I know I'm shrinking.
Hard to say on 1st week losses for me as have had rather a few 1st week losses lol
Hope yr coping alright and have hit ketosis now x
 
Doing really well thanks nearly lost 9lb! I'm doing working solution as I have a small chicken breast and salad when my other half has his evening meal. Feeling tons better! Day 1-5 really was a killer lol how is everyone else getting on? Xx

We'll done Abbie that's great loss on ws. I finally had a loss this morning after nearly a week of STS and have lost 10lbs on July ts challenge. 2 weeks left and really want to lose another 5lbs to get to goal.
Glad you are feeling better now and keep us posted of you progress xx
