    Best way to make pasta carbonara?

    Wondering what you find the best way to prepare the pasta hot meal before I make a mess of it?
    Lost 3 stone on Lighter Life in 2008. Put on some again, lost 1 and a half stone on Exante in Jan 2011.
    Put on some more during pregnancy. Starting again July 2014 with 2 stone baby weight to lose!



    Week 1 -9lbs
    Week 2 -2lbs

    Week 3 & 4 -1lb (on hols)



    Who needs goals when you have goats?
    Goat 1. Get through first 3 days
    Goat 2. Get through first week.

    Goat 3. Get through first month.
    Goat 4. Get to under 11 stone

    Goat 5. Get to under 10 stone
    Goat 6. Get to normal BMI
    Goat 7.Those tight jeans needing a belt again.
    Goat 8. Fit into those black skinnies. (Not necessarily now to wear them, their moment has passed, but just to, like, FIT into them..)

    Current BMI: 28

    Statistics:
    Total Weight Loss: 3st7.4lb
    Weight to Lose: 1st10.6lb
    % Lost 21.67%
    Add 150ml of boiling water and stir (less if you prefer it thicker). Leave to stand for a few minutes. Microwave for 2 minutes. Leave to stand for a few minutes.
    Restart on 01/01/15 weighing 14st4.0

    Weeks 1-4: ​15.6lbs
    Week 5: ​2.8lbs

    Goals
    Lose 3 stones - achieved 19/1/15
    Get out of the 13s - achieved 6/2/15
    Lose 3.5 stones - achieved 11/2/15
    Get to 12st10lbs - achieved 11/2/15
    Get to 12st7lbs

    Well, I added about 130 m&s of water, left to sit covered for 5mins then nuked for 2.5mins. Result? A bit gloopier that ideal, but actually not bad at all. A tad salty maybe. Overall, quite impressed! Looking forward to trying the others tomorrow.

    I sieve it then cook the pasta till it's soft then stir in the mix.
    Seesh - if there's anyone out there worse at maintenance than me I'd like to meet them!

    Yo-yoed for the past 5 years. Get a grip woman!

    Aaaand... I am back again up at over 12 bloody stones!! I was down to ten something a few months ago! How can this be so hard?
