Loss of motivation

I was doing so well, but now I have kinda gave up and can't get back in to it. I'm really disappointed with myself as I still would like to lose 5 stone. Anyone else finding it tough.

One of the ways it can help to get back into it is to start at a higher plan with food and gradually work your way back to doing Total Solution...you will still lose weight and the weight loss can help motivate you again.

I would say try and pick a time when you can really get back on plan without any so social events to throw you off course. One you've had a clear 5 days at it you will be back in ketosis and feeling more in control. Don't give up because of one wobble - I've had plenty of those but always tried to stay focused and not just throw in the towel. Remember that it isn't forever - yes, making sensible food choices is forever, but drinking shakes when everyone else seems to be eating what they want isn't forever. It feels so good to lose the weight don't not give yourself the chance to feel how great that is. I know it feels like such a huge task but try and just take it a day and a week at a time. Once you start seeing the results it motivates you to keep going. Just get through one day and that proves you can do it, you just need to repeat it the next day, and the next. xx

Thanks guys I wasn't really doing the diet long before I gave up 3/4 weeks. I know I need to do this, so tomorrow is a new day for me I'm all prepared and will update on how much I lose, starting fresh:) I just need to get through my first week.

It isn't easy, sticking to a diet is hard work - but then so is carrying around an extra 10 stones (in my case!). Good luck for tomorrow Berry X

Yes that's a good point. I would rather lose 5 stone then carry the extra weight around. How long have u been doin the diet for? How much have u lost so far? Have u had any struggles along the way.

Hi Berry, I've been on Exante for just over a year now - started 1 July 2013. Have lost just over 8 stones in that time. Several ups and downs but always kept on going. Have not been 100% all the time but not let slip ups ruin it, have just put it behind me and carried on going. My losses are a lot slower now but still chipping away at the last couple of stones. It really is worth the sacrifices and hard work Berry. x

Wow what a great loss, good luck with the rest of your journey. Today's the day back on the diet 100%. Can't keep putting it off:)

I've only been doing it a couple of weeks but there's been times I felt like giving in especially in the sunny weather there's only so many sparkling waters that I can pretend is a g+t. I find if I'm losing motivation I go and try some clothes on that didn't use to fit keeps me going :0)
