Just been having a read through Heat magazine ... Subscription with freebies! And in the back I noticed some one mentioning the 30 day squat challenge, had to look it up online and I want to give it a go along with crunches too :eek:. Have to say I am quite looking forward to it and it seems like something easier to for me to do than going for a jog/run.<br />
<br />
Does anyone care to join me? I'm going to start in the morning and whilst it would probably be easier to start this at the beginning of the month I'm going to highlight the days on my calender on the kitchen wall to remind me and keep track.<br />

<div><!-- google_ad_section_start -->I'm 24. 6ft. Male and I started putting on weight about 10 years ago, my highest weight was 17 stone. I have lost, put some on, lost weight over the last 5 years or so. I have now lost 3 stone and I now have 2 stone to go to reach my target, which is 12 stone. I am however getting really worried about loose skin :( I go to the gym now 6 times a week. 3 cardio and 3 for resistance training, I aim to lose 1 lb a week. I do crunches, planks, dry skin brushing, cocoa butter cream, etc. The lot! Also, when I'm on all 4, usually doing a plank, y stomach REALLY droops down and looks horrible - is that normal?<br />
<br />
What do you think my chances are of loose skin, I already have a little on my belly when I pinch (see last pic) and it's really worrying and kind of putting me off. I just need some help and motivation. <br />

<br />
No cheating for 30 days, you stick. To the diet whichever you are on.<br />
10 sit ups on day 1 and increase by 1 each day.<br />
10 press ups on day1 and increase by 1 each day.<br />
30 mins walk everyday.<br />
20 mins of some other exercise everyday.<br />
Drink at least 1 litre of water per day.<br />
Love yourself everyday - everyday write down 1 good thing about yourself. It has to be different everyday. You can post them on here. By the end of may we will have 30 things we like and hopefully feel better about ourselves.<br />
Have 30mins 'me time' each day. Away from the stress an hassle.<br />

Anybody up for this with me?<br />

It's not set on weight as such but if we stick to it we should lose. I would like to lose 20lb this month and make it a big target for a good month. It's gonna be hard to stick to, I know that. But let's try.<br />

Quite a difference when were meant to counting everything I think! In the 5:2 book it says hot chocolate low fat per 100ml is 19cals,w/w hot choc made with 200ml water + 3 heaped tsp (11g) is 40cals..shall I just go off the packaging?? :-/<!-- google_ad_section_end --></div>

I thought I would start a challenge for myself and others if they wish if doing 10 minutes of some form of exercise every day in May. I do very little exercise, I used to go to aquafit twice a week but not been since I had an op and I needed something manageable to get me going again! So 10 minutes will be my minimum each day in May and I hope it sets me up for a much more active lifestyle :)<br />
