Anyway I got back on track Sunday and I've been on damage limitation in prep for todays week 2 weigh in. Luckily I only gained 0.8lbs! I can cope with that!<br />
So I'm right back on track now and the scale is shifting back down. Looking forward to week 3 weigh in! Bring it on! :D<!-- google_ad_section_end --></div>

After being on slimfast for nearly three weeks, I have picked up a few tips to get me through each day. <br />
Firstly, drinking a lot of water after a shake as it helps activate the fibre within the drink, making you feel fuller for longer :) Also, for the past couple of days, I have been cleaning my teeth and using a mouthwash about 15 minutes after my evening meal - the minty taste surpresses my hunger...I'm not sure why but once I have cleaned my teeth I don't want to snack on little treats which could ruin my diet. Give it a go! :P :D<br />
I would like to hear your tips and tricks...<br />

Day 1 and 2 perfect 1200 cals and my scales were showing it was working this morning on day 3 -4lbs! (Hoping it'll last till thur so it's official!)<br />
<br />
But today I've had one shake for breakfast and then went to a BBQ - now I ate healthy so all my cals are good cals but I've now reached the dizzy heights of 1400 cals for the day! So I'm thinking I won't have my meal bar this evening or any snacks and leave it at 1400. <br />
<br />

Their points are:  1) im having 2 sugar filled, high calorie shakes that are unhealthy 2) Why not have a low calorie breakfast and lunch instead of the shakes as i could have plenty of low calorie food for 230cals and be full 3) all the weight will go back on quickly after (im going to do slimming world after and trust me i wont EVER get this fat again!!!!!) 4) its a fad diet  etc etc etc have you all had these negative comments??<!-- google_ad_section_end --></div>

 Today was my third weigh in and I've lost 3lbs so that makes it a total of 8lbs after a bad week last week and stayed the samé!<br />
i so prefer it to ww which I've done all my life! This i find is a nice balance between The Cambridge diet which l've doné previously and ww . Am soo happy, i think I'll finally be slim! x<!-- google_ad_section_end --></div>

So here I am I have been reading about you all for the last week and decided to start posting and join in! <br />
i started Slim Fast last sunday 28th April 2013 and my weigh in is on a Sunday. last Sunday 5th May 2013 i had lost 8lbs!! <br />
I know its usual for bigger people to lose lots in their first week so I am not overly excited by it- Is that wrong??<br />
My mum has stolen my scales so I cant weigh inmore often than every Sunday!! darn mother :( hee hee <br />
<br />
So i am doing well- no cheats and even managed 2 meals out last week and calorie counted them!! <br />
<br />
Walking the dog, playing netball and gym 5 days out of 7. <br />
<br />
So looking for buddies and somewhere i can whinge, moan or just chat rubbish!! <br />

I've drunk quite a bit of water today had 2 Tins of diet irn bru, and been drinking my tea black. <br />

I jumped on the scales for the first time in ages tonight I was mega shocked as I'm 15 stone 2.5 lbs - by far the biggest I've been in years, I have a holiday in October so hope to shed at least 2 stone by then. <br />

Had another day out yesterday to my in laws so wasn't able to stick to the diet 100%, the weekends are always the hardest for me, but I've got right back on track today with a chocolate shake this morning followed my a nice long run, and despite the heat I managed to go further today.<br />
<br />
Finally managed to pop into Asda yesterday to get the three for £10 deal but it has changed to two for £10 so I was abit disappointed plus they didn't have the flavours I had hoped to try-cafe latte and caramel so ended up getting banana and chocolate, it was really nice to have a choice this morning, until now I have only had the strawberry.<br />
