I love getting on the scales to see my weight go down but I find something really satisfying about my BMI going down. Esp going to Obese to just 'very overweight' (it's a pity I've done it three times now!). <br />
I'm trying to make a deal with myself that I will do my very best to keep a decent eye on my weight even when I'm not dieting so I will never pop back into obese again.<br />

Weekdays everything's fine and dandy and as soon as Saturday ticks over I'm planning when to have my bar and when I'll most enjoy it...for me..somewhere between Britains Got Talent and The voice haha! Sit back and relax and pretend its a little treat lol have even resorted to putting my coke zero in a wine glass..have clearly let too many bubbles go to my head:) but it's just the little things that change it up abit! My mums friend is on Cambridge diet and she drinks her shakes quicker than she makes them lol I just wonder if its me who takes forever to finish it, I literally savour every last drop :) you've got to make the most out of what u get lol!  So, shake this morning then all I can say is roll on BGT;) hope u all have an EX-alANTE day..ok ok bad I know, I'm goin!(: x<!-- google_ad_section_end --></div>

Missed my train so by time I got to work my back up plan of scrambled egg from the canteen was stuffed. All that was left was toast. Decided to skip breakfast and get salad or something for lunch. <br />
Then boss announced he was taking us out for lunch to the local Italian. He's not the type of person you can say no to and no one knows I'm on exante. <br />
Had every intention of having salad but when it came to it I ended up with pasta and garlic bread!!!<br />
Given how ill I was at the start of the week I'm not beating myself up. I know I'll need to start ketosis again but c'est la vie :)<!-- google_ad_section_end --></div>

Decided to give the total solution a go as there was an offer on a voucher site. I am 18st and I have really struggled up and down with my weight since I left the army several years ago. Then working in Mcd's for the next 15 years didnt help :( my current job I have been in for a couple of years but I am on my bum most of the day and have put on 2 st. <br />
I started on Monday and have stuck to it religiously but on day 4 now and i really feel quite weak and have little to no energy at all. I dont mind most of the products apart from the porridge as it is like chalk paste so I am fine with the food I just want to know how long do most people get to the ketosis stage when the energy boost kicks in?<!-- google_ad_section_end --></div>

I started Exante last Monday and lost 8lbs in my first week which was fab, I have been poppin in and out of here reading tips etc, buuuut yesterday I slipped,tumbled and completely rolled off my wagon lol soooo today I am starting afresh and I am posting to keep me on track and speak to others on the diet :)<br />
I just wondered, if I were to have porridge and the pasta are u only allowed one of those per day as u r with the bars or are u allowed to mix and match as long as u stick with ur 3 products a day? For example could u have 2 porridges and a bar?<br />

I'm currently 5'8, size 16 and 15stone, the prom is in the middle of July.... <br />
any idea what size I am likely to be by then?! I have no idea and need to start ordering/looking for a dress! Obviously I can't leave it <br />

The major thing is I HATE the soups and starting to feel the same way about the bars. I am losing willpower as the thought of eating the soups is making me gag. I have loads left coz I bought loads :( this last weekend I just couldn't cope and end up having low fat meals, salads chicken etc. and now tried to get back to it today and had my shake but only managed about a quarter of the bar. I'm sat here starving at the moment but the thought of the soup is worse than not actually eating anything. The weight was falling off and I was doing well and I need to continue but just don't know what to do :(<!-- google_ad_section_end --></div>

<div><!-- google_ad_section_start -->I was due to start yesterday but have been struck down with a horrible tummy bug since Saturday. Starting to feel a bit better today and have managed to keep down plenty of fluids and one slice of toast.<br />
Having done Atkins and other vlcd before I know how hard the first 3 days are until I go into ketosis.<br />
My question then is should I take what has already been a hellish few days and go straight on exante instead of food (I'm doing porridge, bars and carbonara not liquid version) or eat normally for a couple of days to get some strength back but then have to go through feeling lousy for days again when i start????<br />
Im also planning on doing working solution at the weekend for my sanity and so I can still have a meal with my hubby so maybe I should start with that as a happy medium?....<br />

Ps I know it's all water weight and shouldn't even be thinking about it but the eternal dieter in me couldn't resist and I weighed myself this morning and I'm down 6lbs<!-- google_ad_section_end --></div>

Are they discontinued???  Or have Exante dieters bought so many they've ran out lol<br />

IMHO it's creamy, not too cheesy, not too smokey, don't expect it to be thick, it's more like noodle soup, left to stand long enough for the pasta to be tender, added a touch of seasonall to give it a kick and had the first real tasting food I've eaten in seven days! ;)<br />
<br />
(I do have a funny taste in my mouth, but I've had that a few days now anyway, think it could possibly be due to ketosis, not blaming the carbonara!)<br />
<br />
Going to report on the other flavours as I try them, but not all at once :flirt2: (old eating habits are <i>out</i>! lol)<!-- google_ad_section_end --></div>

Feeling ok so far, although I was at a friend's little girls bday party yesterday and had some pizza and cake. Oops.<br />

Going to forget that happened and move on!<br />

I had my vanilla milkshake hot today, with coffee in. It was ok - I think I prefer it cold!<br />

Anyway, just wanted to say hello, as I've been reading for a couple of days now.<br />

Got my order acknowledgement from Exante straight away, but my food pack didn't arrive next-day as they state on their website.  I contacted them and they rang and promised my order would be despatched Wednesday. But since then, nothing, no order, no call back, no email, nothing.  I have phoned (you can only leave a message) and emailed at least a dozen times in the past 48 hours but they seem to be ignoring me :mad:  and I <i>still</i> haven't even had a desptach confirmation.  I've now left messages &amp; emailed asking for a refund so I can go elsewhere, but funnily enough they are not replying to those either!<!-- google_ad_section_end --></div>

I lost about 8st on Cambridge and put most of it back on (all my own doing) then turned to exante last year and lost about 4 before I got married but have put most of that on again and am now right back to where I started pre Cambridge!  <br />

I have been trying my best at Atkins / low carbing but don't think I get it really.  I have been losing, not too bad I suppose but I am used to aiming for a stone a month on a VLCD and when its around half that I feel like I am not aiming the right way, iykwim?! <br />
<br />
I still have some of my exante things (I quite liked the shakes and the porridge) so happy to head back in that direction.  <br />
<br />
Among my questions I am wondering if there is an issue with drinking caffeine on exante?  I have been told to avoid it on atkins and I wondered if it was a ketosis thing?  Also, I have been told to avoid skimmed milk as the lower the fat the higher the carbs, how does this relate to a VLCD?  We have a big coffee pot at work and I have been avoiding it but sometimes I really fancy one sometimes!  <br />
