So I am not good at taking rest days!! It's something I really need to work on! But I just love working out. I go to lots of classes and If I could fit anymore in I would. Recently I've started to suffer with fatigue, I don't know if I was hydrating myself well enough and as a result I ended up with a kidney infection. I also struggle to eat enough to fuel my body to cope with the demands of exercise. I took two days off work and 5 days off the gym and I'm easing myself back into the gym... But man am I suffering!! I see my gym instructor who teaches 28 hours of classes a week and just think 'how does she do it?' Any advice or tips? Anybody else addicted to exercise?
Hi all

Back after long absence. Most recently, I damaged my lower back(muscle strain) and now am recovering from it through the usual route. I have been told no lasting damage(phew!:sigh:) Unfortunately my weight has yo-yoed over the lastfew months:cry:and I believe my weight has probably contributed to my lower back pain. I finally think this may be the final straw as it has frightened me and do not want to relive the discomfort I have felt.

I am looking to finally need to get my fitness back on track. Can anyone suggest a safe route into exercising again? I have posted before as have JM dvd's, Wii cardio, the biggest loser etc.. but I dont feel they would be appropriate to get myself back without further injury. Not sure if a gym:eek: would benefit on both areas of fitness, weight loss

Thanks so much

My neighbour has recently taken up spinning and has been singing its praises all week, and she looks fabulous..Even if she was already a skinny bird when she started:rolleyes:

I was just curious to hear peoples reviews as theres a small spinning centre where i live and i walked past the other day and the price was pretty reasonable too. Ive heard your legs really ache and its tiring but i suppose if you get some sort of result it makes the burn worth it!:p...But my real question is, does it help weight loss or is it especially for the legs and bum area?

Many thanks!:)

I've got quite a lot of weight to lose and I've done okay so far without doing any exercise but really want to get fit at the same time.

I've just joined a gym - its the local college gym which is very cheap but has limited opening times. With my work hours I can only fit in 3 x 1 hr sessions in a week. Do you think this is enough? Or should I be doing something else aswell?

I dont want to start off doing too much but I want to get into a routine that I will hopefully stick to for a while (I have been known to give up after about 2 weeks, I am hoping to break the habit this time!) :D

Hey Guys, Please excuse the lay out of this message, I've just realised my return key is broken...... I need some help on the exercise front. I work full time Mon to Fri, I do office hours but i'm flexi time so I can come and go as I please, OH watches our 2 kids (one is a baby, one is at school) while I'm at work, so I try and get into work early so that I can get home earlier to spend some time with them before bed time. So my normal hours I try to do are 7am til 3pm. Meaning I leave the house at 6.30am and get home at around 3.30pm. I desperately want to do some sort of exercise. My questions are....what exercise should I do and when. I have a manual treadmill and some light weights in the house. I do some walking each day which equates to around 30mins a day. I could possibly go to the gym, but not before work (its not open then) I could possibly go after work, but would mean less time with kids, could possibly go after dinner, but its too far from my home and I don't drive. So I need to think of some sort of plan. Oh I forgot to mention dinner time, this is a big issue now, see my plan was to get home, spend time with kids, make dinner and then do either my treadmill or some sort of other exercise in the house, but that would mean doing that after eating all my food for the day, incl dinner. I could have a work out at home as soon as I get home from work, and then have dinner after (which would mean less time with kids) or I could make them their dinner, do a work out after that, then have a late dinner (downside of this is making 2 meals each night, and also being crabbit and hungry while making kids dinner) it seems that every avenue has an obstacle...a downside. Does anyone have any ideas? I need something that I can do every day, and not get fed up, I think if I had to commute to the gym every day (on top of travelling to and from work) it might give me a nervous breakdown, so workout in the house is looking like the best option....but what time?? Any advice appreciated!! Thanks. :)

Does anyone know of any online shops where I can get plus size sleeveless exercise tops that are flared from the bust down/very loose fitting? I have big hips so even tops that are plus size seem to go straight down and reveal all my lumps and bumps and cling to my belly so I'm just really self conscious when I'm out and about doing some exercise! I also need a decent high impact sports bra that'll keep the twins in their place when Im jogging so any suggestions for the best brand to go for would be really helpful thanks :-)

It would be great to find somebody who is at the same stage, but even if you’re further on it would be good to hear your input.
I’m actually enjoying it at the moment – it’s hard work, but not exhausting. I found level 1 of the 30DayShred a lot harder, but maybe I was weaker then.
I will try and do a little summary after each session – kind of like a diary.
