Is doing all this exercise really worth it :(

Exercise wise, I'm now totally deflated.

I lost 3lbs last week and was well chuffed, then this week after doing all the walking and going on the Wii I only lost 1.5lbs, same as what I lost 2 weeks ago when I did less then half as much exercise as I am doing now.

Could I be over doing it or building up more muscle, I just don't know, but I did do a lot of walking, not fast power walking but certainly not slow walking (well for most of the time it wasn't that slow).

I also went on the Wii and did some stuff on that, like the cycling where I went like the clappers to beat my OH time on the score board.

Seriously apart from enjoying it (which is the only reason I'll keep doing it) what other reason is there, if its not even really helping to benefit me in the long run when it comes to shedding the lbs quicker..

Yeah I know there are health benefits associated with exercise but still

    Zebredy,

Maybe ir varies from person to person but for me exercise is very important.
When you exercise the muscle mass develops, celulite decrease and metabolism increase (because muscle burns more calories than fat). Besides that I think it's a great habit to exercise, both for mind and body/health

I think the best way to look at this is the phrase

"Exercise is the life insurance policy that pays off in this life"

Take your measurements and try not to get fixated on the scales. Last year I only lost 2lb in July but I lost 2" off both my hips and waist and 1" off my bust. And I felt great.
