    Good on you for keeping with the C5K!! I tried to view the dress but the link was too long and only took me to the home page! This is my first week back in "fit" mode as i was sick last week. So far:
    Monday: 20 minute walk and 15 minutes hand weights at home with hubby
    Tuesday: 1.5 hours at gym - yoga class, hand weights and swim
    Wednesday: 30 minute walk with my friend

    I hope to get a swim in tomorrow morning and on Friday, maybe a beach walk! The weekend is pretty open so far!

    Just a very quick one to say yesterday: 30 mins brisk walking on the treadmill (leg muscles are very sore and I thought I had put c25k week 2 on my phone but clearly I hadn't)... Today's aim:

    day 1, week 2... Fingers crossed!

    Yep, I did day 1 of week 2 and my legs feel like they've been set on fire. I saw an improvement in the sense that I didn't find myself getting embarrassingly out of breath, and the gym is getting more and more packed with people huffing and puffing- better they do something about it now rather than later there's little 5ft2 me in my hotpants and four hot sweaty 6ft+ men doing 5/6/7k in the same time I do one podcast! I am in agony

    Dont worry about the sweaty men - the people I cant stand in my gym are the super fit, skinny women with a full face of make up and perfect hair! But they also motivate me just a little bit too! :-)

    Ugh! I know exactly what you mean! People should not be able to say "I'm so fat" while at the gym- sometimes they aren't; just because they can't run for a minute without getting out of breath, it doesn't make them fat, just unfit! And then spending ten minutes after their showers grabbing at imaginary flab in the mirror, huffing and puffing, just makes me dislike them more!

    In other news (also need to hunt down the NSV thread in a sec), I just text this to my cousin, following my run:

    "0:00-5:00 walked
    5:00-6:30 ran
    6:30-8:30 walked
    8:30-10:00 ran
    10:00-12:00 walked
    12:00-13:30 ran
    13:30-15:30 walked
    15:30-17:00 ran
    17:00-19:00 walked
    19:00-20:30 ran
    20:30-22:30 walked
    22:30-32:30 RAN
    32:30-44:00 limped and oofd and ouched while walking

    300 calories burnt, left leg in agony but I have never felt so good, a ten minute run, I didn't get out of breath or stop or swear or have to promise myself a reward if I got to the end. So happy "

    Now I'm really hungry and really really tired, the shower is occupied and what I want to eat needs to be cooked! Off I go...

    Day 1 of week 3 was completed today, and now my ankles are quite sore. I hate having to walk, I'd rather keep running. Had a sudden desire to just carry on again, like on the weekend, but I just told myself to trust in the plan, follow the podcasts, and soon, I will be able to run 5k in 30 minutes. Hell yeah!
