I read this but not sure if is it right or not
""Some dietary advocates promote the idea of drinking as much as 64 oz. of water daily. While the majority of studies don’t confirm this, they do indicate the importance of drinking water through the day. Water reduces fluid retention naturally and promotes the release of toxins from the body.""

is anyone have an idea ??

if google is right 64oz of water is 1.8ltr? if so i would say you need to drink more i drink 4 ltrs some days although my training is pretty extreme. I can easy drink 1- 1.5 ltr in a bike and weight session.

I always drink at least 2 litres of water a day whether I'm dieting or not. Some days this can be anything up to 5. I started to worry a little a while back as I saw drinking excessive amounts of water can do damage - but this was excessive in a short amount of time, so I'm not so bothered anymore.

I admit not being a keen water drinker. I do drink some whether dieting or not, about 500ml most days. When doing diets previously I would make an effort to drink at least 2L a day but it never made any difference to my losses each week even though people told me it would.
