Good free apps for running?
Hi there, complete noob to jogging. Want to start I have an Android and have heard about so many different apps that can help you along and stuff. Are any free? and are there any anyone recommends?
I have mapmywalk but want to adjust to jogging x
i have one downlaaded called run training.
its free but once you reach the max logged runs you have to pay. its worth paying though
I'm using runkeeper at the minute, you can set it to tell you what your current pace is as well as how far you've gone, it'll also post to facebook/twitter etc.
Another good app is jogfm which matches the tempo of the music on your phone to the pace you're running or you can set it at a pace to keep you at that pace, I find it helpful
also if you're just starting off you could try the NHS couch to 5k program, gets you from nothing to running 5k in 9 weeks, well worth doing if you're just getting started
