Has anyone over 20stone....

Hey!
Has anyone over 20stone tried Yoga? i tried pilaties and loved it, but yoga seems a smidge more hard, especially with me been a chunky monkey, so was wondering if anyone had any experiances with this and if so was it okay?

I do yoga twice a day. Most positions I don't have too much of an issues because I'm flexible but there are a few where I'm not strong enough because of how much I weigh to hold myself in place.
 
I did a yogilates class once which was a real work out haha I struggled with some moves, but practice I'm sure would've helped. I would've carried on going if I could afford it.
 
I did yoga class few days ago and let me tell you, it was not easy. In fact I did two classes in row, body pump and yoga and I do use polar heart rate monitor to make sure I dont overdo it and I was very surprised when turned out that yoga was more intensive for me then body pump. Anyway - going back asap :) I didnt manage to get all the positions and the one I did manage were very hard to hold, but I'm sure it will get better in time.

I have been going to Pilates for 3 weeks now, it is surprising how it works you out, considering it looks like you aren't doing much! The day after I find muscles aching that I had forgotten about! I am trying it as I suffer with back pain...it seems to be helping....fingers crossed it helps.
