Starting 30 Day Shred - anyone wanna join me?

Hey everyone,
So after reading so much about 30 day shred I've decided to start it tonight and really get myself fit.
Anyone fancy joining me with it - having a 30DS buddy would be awesome :)
 
I know I'm a couple of days late, but I just got it today and was just having a wee nosey on here to see what everyone thought. I start tomorrow!
 
Not late at all - always good to know there are others doing it with me. Good luck for day 1 :) I've just done day 3 tonight and will be doing day 4 in the morning because I work shifts (ouch!) but I'm definitely noticing I can do more than I could in day one :) x
 
I'm scared!!! Haha! I'll let you know how I get on. Although I think I should be more scared of the waitressing shift I'll be doing after! :)
 
Done first thing this morning before I even realised I was awake! I have never been so deserving of a morning coffee... :)

I did day 4 this morning (did day 3 late last night) - was lying in bed thinking how I could just wait until tonight to do it but I'm glad I got out of bed to do it this morning (and means I can have a cheeky glass of guilt-free wine tonight - yay!) :)
 
Day 1 done not to bad I hated the jumping jacks ok at first but I do need to use my hands to keep my boobs still. Now off to do T25 workout good job I'm not running today not sure my knee's could take it.
 
Doing T25 after the shred DVD? Wow, I'm totally impressed :D
 
T25 and 30DS?! Wow! How was that?!

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be to be honest, but still a workout, and I know I'm only on level one. I'm guessing level three will be pure evil but I'm refusing to look ahead on the DVD.

I'm the same - refusing to look ahead on the DVD in case I never let myself get to level 3 - haha

I am 10 days in. Just increased to level 2. My arms hate me....

I'm dreading level 2 already :)

took a rest day today as I was feeling super tired but missing it bizarrely. I'm looking forward to doing it again :)
 
I'm only on day 5 of level 1 today as I took a break over the weekend - looking forward to getting back to it, though :)

Have been looking at T25 and wondering should I go for it, I love Jillian michaels 30 day shred, the price tag for T25 is quite high do you think it's worth it.?

Hey I'm on week 4 of T25 and I LOVE it! Combined it with WW. Don't get me wrong... It's tough but for only 25mins anyone can do it and the modifier still works up a sweat too!

I did 30DS last year and got to level 2 but it was TOO repetitive for me.... With T25 the minimum times I'll do an exercise over the 5 weeks is 5 times, and a maximum is about 7 I think - over 5 weeks! I'm on week 4 and still watching like "have I actually done this move before?!"

Below are pics from week 1 and week 3. My weight hasn't changed dramatically, 2lbs loss in 3 weeks including a TOTM and water retention I think... But I've lost 5inches from my body - especially thighs and arms which is my trickiest spots to see a difference normally.

Thanks for your answer bugsbunny2000. I have been watching the adverts for T25 and I know it's not easy but if you want change it is going to take hard work and I figured that it is only 25 mins, the Insanity dvd's I think would definitely kill me! Your pics are fab by the way.

Yeah I tried insanity - well I tried to fit test and felt like a complete idiot! But t25 is that right balance between achievable and kick-your-butt! I recommend it to everyone and the fact I'm actually seeing differences within 2-3 weeks is brilliant! 2 weeks in 30DS and I saw no difference at all x

That is one thing I'm not liking about 39DS. It's SOOOO repetitive. Sometimes I take a day off and do a class in the gym instead just for a wee change.
 
I know the feeling although I like knowing the routine. I go Thai boxing but still do 30ds as extra on those days
