my poor knees

Ok.. Being over weight my entire life my knees have taken a beaten. I had to have left knee surgery repair a few years back. I was over 350 at the time and lost over 100 pounds after that. I've never taken care of my body and now that I'm going too the gym and eating better my knees are weak and full of pain. Its very difficult to move and exercise. I push through the pain because i don't wanna give up. Any advice??
 
As a large guy myself I can relate with the knee pains. When it comes to working out try focus on exercise that have a minimal impact on your knees, these may include rowing, cycling, swimming. You also may want to focus on body weight exercises or weights for your upper body.

In terms of eating you want to focus on a positive nutrition plan that enhances your metabolism. The benefit of this is that your natural fat burning systems are enhanced which accelerates your fat burn even during periods of inactivity.
