Anyone up for it?

I've been absent for ages. On top of my physical issues, my daughter ended up in hospital for a few days, I then got sick and after all of that, we've decided to sell the house so went crazy getting it ready for viewings. We've still not had an offer but I NEED to get back on track! I've now joined WW online and need something to get re-motivated with exercise.

I need to start slowly as I've really let things go exercise-wise, so I need to build up to my previous levels again gradually. So, my goal is to walk 3 days a week and combine this with some form of HIIT 3 times a week. That's it for April. Next month I can think about adding sculpting back in but I don't want to overload myself lest I do nothing!

So, is anyone else up for it?

I need to be gentle too, so let's do it together. :) I'm not allowed to do anything high impact and can no longer do weights. It's going to be challenging, but not impossible, to work my way around that.

Today I'm going to head out for a walk with DD to the park as the wind seems to have settled down and for once it's not raining!

Oooooh - well done CG! I had a planned blowout yesterday for Easter lunch. We went to the Hinds Head in Bray - but I made sure I accounted for everything and had a 0 point breakfast (I've started doing WW) and nothing for dinner.

I'm back from the zoo anyway - it was a very sedate affair and we didn't stay long as DD fell asleep. I only burnt 366 calories - but it's better than nothing! I have enough points for a small Easter egg so I'm going to have that with a cup of tea. Oh how I'm living it up for Easter!

I'm back on board too. I did way less miles last month which I'm not sure was just coincidence or because I didn't have to report to you guys?!

I'll go for 40 miles running and 20 other workouts - can workout miles so far from Nike + but will do workouts from today on :D

Morning all, took advantage of extra day off to have another daylight run.

Been investigating HIIT as a plan - watched the "Truth about Fat" program where they said HIIT definitely shown to be better for fat loss than other exercise. Might do a mini trial myself after next weigh in and see how I do?!

I am still here...I think my 6000 steps just now is a bit ambitious on the back of a very bad flu and would like to reduce my daily target to 4000.

Absolutely start slow and steady after flu it really knocks the stuffing out of you. Needs to be an achievable number otherwise easy to get frustrated and give up :)
