Minimum posts question

I would be interested to know why you have imposed a minimum number of posts before I can view other members diaries.

I have tried to look at a successful persons diary for inspiration but as she is a 'silver poster' (whatever that is) I am not allowed to...

Surely these journeys are the ones that we should be able to read for encouragement and if they have been good enough to post them for everyone to see I dont understand why us newbies are excluded.

Please could someone explain

If people move their diaries to the silver section it's for a bit more security/privacy. They've also koved theirvdiary to the silver section by choice

Minimins gets a lot of spammers etc and people have been concerned about privacy, it's not the first time someone has joined to access a diary. The silver section ensures a bit more privacy for people and is a progressive price lodge

Thanks for letting me know - I didn't realise that people had moved their diaries I thought they were classed as a silver member as they had just had made lots of posts.

Out of curiosity - dont you find that people now make loads of unnecessary posts- I certainly have seen many - if it is just to get their posting count up then it is pointless.

I take on board about the spam setting though but spammers can post from their very first attempt. Are you saying that the same people return up to 500 times ?

When you have 500 posts you get the privilege to access the Silver Members Diary Forum.

If members try and manipulate their posts count by using the word game or by unnecessary posts these posts will be deleted.
