    photos attaching sideways

Since getting my new phone Samsung galaxy s3, all pictures I post are coming out sideways. Any idea on how to fix this? I've always used the android ap and on my old phone (htc desire s) they posted with no issues. Thanks in advance for any help x

I think it's to do with your phone as when my son send pics through to me they were always upside down or sideways. If no one comes along with how to change it next time I speak to son I will ask how he changed his.

I've been told by someone else you need to hold the phone landscape (the way you use a camera) to take a pic and it will be the right way up when posting it..Don't know if it works.

You should be able to rotate the picture after taking it!

If not your looking for an option to auto correct rotation ( most phones know the orientation they are being held )

this is a very old original post but the issue was that even if the pictures were taken portrait, they were attaching landscape. The auto correcting rotation doesn't help if the pic is the wrong way round though, if you turn the phone, the screen will turn with you so the pic will still be the wrong way up!
