    AOL and Our Forums

    There seems to be issues with older versions of AOL. If your having issues best thing to do is to upgrade to the latest edition where there seems to be no problems.

    The issue, is where you try to login and use cookies. The first time your here, the system knows who you are and can track you. But if your returning, what happens is that the AOL browser does not allow access to the cookies, meaning the site cannont figure out who you are!

    The only known solution to me is to do this ->

    Open Up internet explorer->

    Go to Tools-> Internet Options

    Delete Cookies

    And then try log in to here.

    Unfortunatly this is quite labourous to do.. and its not 100% verified.

    The other solution is to use a different browser.

    Like Mozilla Firefox, http://www.mozilla.com
    Opera: http://www.opera.com
    Netscape: http://browser.netscape.com/

    AOL USERS PROBLEMS
    If you log on normally and get told that you are not logged in when you try to reply to a post, read this: If AOL users have 'Automatically remember my username and password' AND 'Browse this board with cookies,' they will not experience these problems.

    If they do not have 'Automatically remember my username and password' set, they will get logged out by vBulletin's session validation process. This is because they are actually getting logged in again and again by their cookie.

    They seem to have the same issues. If that information above helps, let me know.
