    So here I am 17lbs lighter, 12 inches lost thinking that i'm imagining that I can see a difference as no one else has noticed it...was getting a bit of a humph! about it to be honest so ask my kids outright if they can see a difference......

    Oh yes, they even pointed out where they can see a difference, they just thought it would be a bit insensitive to mention it. I know I've bought them up to use tact but that was so tactful it was almost tactless!


    And its just reminded me of how tactful they can be. We were at a kids party once and my son then aged 4 came in and asked if a girl he didn't know could have another drink as she'd spilt hers. I asked which girl so I could deliver the drink but as he didn't know the girl he set about describing her. "Blonde hair, flowery dress, that one over there with the extra meatiness" Bless him! But not today

    We now prefer the term extra meatiness to fat especially when it comes to little kids. But I'm not kidding myself, I know i'm not cuddly or extra meaty.

    lol, no but extra meatiness was a far nicer way of describing her than what would come out of many kids mouths. He still is very tactful 12 years later...well most of the time but woe betide anyone that really p's him off, he has a very quick and cutting sarcastic wit about him.
