Has anyone found it difficult to adjust to the 'new' slimmer you?

Hi everyone!

I'm just at the beginning of my weight loss journey I guess, but I find myself feeling almost scared about being slim! Is this weird?

I've always been overweight since I was a teenager, but at 5ft11 I have always 'carried it well' I suppose. People are shocked when they find I'm a size 18-20, I guess this is because of my height, but I am still clinically obese!

I think about the future when I have lost more weight, and I'm scared I won't be able to recognise myself in the mirror! I feel I've always been the 'funny fat girl', and that people will see me differently when I lose weight. I have a lot of people telling me I am fine as I am, but I don't listen to them as it's MY health and my body!

I just wondered if anyone here has lost a lot of weight, and just found it strange?
