Ketosis
I'm sorry, this subject probably gets brought up alot but I'm a newbie 
Quite simply, is ketosis bad or good?
This is one of the reasons I'm not sure I want to go on a VLCD as I dont want my body to go into starvation mode and not use any of my fat stores.

On a VLCD its what you want. Your body will start burning off your fat reserves and wont go into starvation. It also staves off the hunger pangs and gives you more energy
