I need mini goals!
Hey - can anyone out there help me? I need some mini goals...
I have a clear target of how I want my body to become, but some days I do lose sight of the target and get lost in the thick of work and life and everything.
So... what do you suggest?
I have some Super Dry jeans that I really want to get into, and some old Levi's too - which I will when I hit my target weight. But what about the time between now and then?
Plese throw me some ideas! Thanks.
I can share my mini goals with you
My Big goal is to get to 13 stone ish
I have broken that down into I want to see the 15 stone on the scales and then I want it to be 15 stone and a single figure then to see 14 stone etc.
I think it's about taking the big goal and breaking it down
For instance maybe getting a pair of trousers that are smaller than your current size but bigger than 'the goal jeans' and get into those first- pat yourself on the back to stop you from losing the light at the end of the tunnell
I'm on a "Magic Number" thread where you post your next mini target - it's usually only a few lbs but it could be to get into the next stone bracket, to be in a new bmi range, to have lost a certain % of weight etc... And I find that really useful, as it's only a few lbs at a time it's easy to focus on and once you've achieved then you set your own next mini goal x
I was scanning the threads for some too, to stick at the bottom so far i will be having
make it to 1 week
just searching other people threads and copying and pasting the ones i like x
I currently weigh 12s 12lb
My overall target is 9s 7lb
My mini targets are half a stone at a time
I have brought a pair of super sexy jeans, 2 sizes smaller (size 12, currently 14) first mini target thgen when I fit into these I will order a size 8/10
I think setting a mini target of 1/2 stones tends to help me, as then you're never too far away from achieving a target which will help to keep you motivated!
