Anyone following any diet will gain weight back if they go back to eating how they did before.
It's not about how you lose it...it's what you do when you've lost it that counts

I've not gone from a VLCD to a healthy eating plan so I can't offer any advice on that.

After a VLCD you will inevtiably put on some weight when you come off it as you're body adjusts to eating 'normally' again. This will probably be between 5 - 10 lbs. This won't be inches though, just weight as you're body replenishes glycogen stores.

If you're doing a VLCD follow the plan for reintroducing food to your diet, don't just jump into eating again. Once you've followed the steps then transition onto the method of eating that you plan to follow for the rest of your life. As Blue Butterfly said everyone will put the weight back on if they don't change the habits that made them gain in the first place!

    Check out my ramblings.

I'm just calorie counting. Nothing fancy. No rules other than don't go over your daily calorie limit.
