whats your mental weight?

I came across this virtual weight imager that you might like to try. I have this ability to see myself as much thinner than I actually am, so I get my son or husband to take a photo of me as I do not trust what my brain does to my mental weight image when I look in the mirror.

I put my actual weight into the imager, then I adjusted the 'goal' weight down until I saw an image of what I mentally believe I weigh and what I think I look like when I look in the mirror. Turns out I can fool myself into thinking im 20lbs thinner than I actually am lol, no wonder photos come as such a shock!

Not sure if im allowed to post a link to the imager but you can google it on Model My diet. Post your own virtual body images, it would be interesting to see if other people also suffer from weight blindness lol.

I haven't tried the link as I'm on my phone but I am definitely guilty of seeing myself as 'not that big' when I look in the mirror, or convince myself that photos have just been taken at a bad angle. Even things like my clothes there's not much difference in my mind between the waist size of my old size 18 jeans and the 12's I bought the other day, scarey what the mind can do to your perception lol
